Nobody repeated from 1969 to 1988 and many thought there won't be dynasties after Mikan's Lakers and Russell's Celtics. Then, LA and Detroit repeated and Chicago three-peated twice, with Houston repeating in the middle. There is no forever or never in history.

yes, you're right. The 70's went without a dynasty and no repeats. But if we look at the 80's, it went Lakers, Celtics, Lakers, Sixers, Celtics, Lakers, Celtics, Lakers. Three teams won the ring from 1980 - 1987. Those were dynasties. A dynasty doesn't necessarily have to be repeat rings. But then you could use that and say dynasties came back even earlier after the era of parity in the 70's that we seem to be in right now.

with the new rules and salary caps. its definitely gonna be hard to make a super team fro. players leaving teams to form one. its gonna have to be a core of drafted guys that make it there early on while on contracts that arent freaking huge.
