She shattered her stick about 5 seconds before she dropped it. The stick you saw later was the piece that had landed on her cymbal.

Pau's stick split half way down and the piece landed on the crash. She then replaced the broken stick and later when she hit the crash the piece of broken stick flew off.🤟🤟🤟❤❤❤

Pau used to go through a lot of sticks. She uses a heavier stick now as mention in her Digital Tour Bus Gear Masters Ep 475 as well as being more economical with her movements. Notice also that she did this TEDx presentation wearing heels. I didn't see them on your channel so let me recommend the DTB Gear Masters episodes 471, Dany, ep 473, Ale and ep 475, Pau. Pretty sure you will like them if you haven't seen them.

Pau once referred to this show as "the one where I only broke one stick". You can see that she has a whole quiver of sticks at the ready.
A few seconds before the switch you can see the tip of the stick break off and fly over her head to land on a cymbal. She drops the stick to pick up a new one. Later she hits the cymbal launching the broken tip behind the drumkit. 😊

They did a self-reaction to this performance on their Patreon page a while back. Pau couldn't believe how hard she was hitting and how high she was raising her arms. I'm surprised her drum teacher didn't tell her, but I guess you can't restrain the animal! Like Animal from the Muppets! (I tried to add an Animal image but YT doesn't allow jpegs or tiffs in comments unless it is a YT emoji) They also reacted to their original Enter Sandman video from 2014 and their Liceo concert

Sir, I absolutely love your reactions. They remind me of when I first saw this TedX a few years back. In fact, I got a bit concerned about your health because I knew every Pau drum fill moment! This entire presentation is my "go to" if I'm feeling down, or need to find my joy again. It was fun to see your reaction to the broken drum stick switch. Pau never missed a beat, was singing harmony, and just kept going. They are simply fantastic. This is one of my favorites videos of them. I love this performance... SO MUCH!!!! 💙🤘🎸
Ale decided to pick the bass guitar at about seven. There is a performance at their school when Ale was 10. Back then they did some of their own songs and quite a few covers. One of the songs they covered was Hysteria by Muse. That song has a very hard bass line and Ale blew it away. Muse put their performance of Hysteria on their website. That concert will take you back to their true beginning as a band and of course they were brilliant. BTW, these three songs are nearly always on their concert playlist. With the release of their 4th album, that may change.

@@CrazyAwesome You’re gonna make yourself nuts trying to rank their songs. Each record is very different. The new record is more pop oriented. Some say over produced, with the extra backing tracks, fuzz and distortion. The prior record, Error had a clean, more straight ahead rock sound. Queen of the Murder Scene is mind blowing, as it’s so intense, and Pau wrote many of those lyrics when she was barely in Puberty. Your journey seems really in depth. You’ve seen more interviews than me. You likely in a way know them more than me, due to your research. I basically am mostly just rocking out to them. Great driving music.

For example, Choke has an amazing video. The live version in some ways is better, more dynamic, but the video is intense and brilliantly produced. A fun one is Evolve. That’s my introduction. Shot on several iPhones and a couple drones, it’s so fun. Error, is a banger, and the video is deep. Disciple is unreal live, but the video is EPIC. Agsin, XXl Century Blood is appointment viewing.
