To be fair he didn't kidnap them they broke into his home and the Russian roulette was his twisted way of testing if they were good or bad. He knew when the bullet was in the chamber and didn't let Aaron kill himself and was gonna let them go. He did the same test with his brother but his brother chose to kill his family instead.

This was honestly, out of nowhere, one of my favorite TWD episodes. Even for a show whose foundation is based on these facets, this episode was so simple, all character...and human. When you know characters are gonna survive because it’s a flashback, and it’s STILL this tense. Funny, intimate, and intense in all the best, simple ways. Like the Telltale games indeed☺️

So you would have had no problem with Rick killing Morgan instead of trying to return him to sanity? The guys whole point was a psychotic break caused by his brothers betrayal that led him to assuming everyone was evil. He stopped Aaron from pulling the trigger as that convinced him to question his preconceived notions of other humans and allowed him to trust them. Hence why Aaron was disgusted before they found the brother, gabriel proved May's world view and view of them correct

When I first knew this was just Gabriel and Aaron I honestly wasn't excited.. but it turned out to be one of the best episodes in the show and one of my most favorites

This episode is up there as one of the best TWD episodes, imo.

Big galaxy brain theory time: They’ve been saying those Rick movies have been coming for like 4 years now. I have a feeling those movies will be scrapped and be intertwined somehow in final season somewhere because apparently it’ll be 24 episodes. Also I don’t think Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira knew about TWD ending so soon after their departure so I’m willing to bet that they’ll come back in like the second half of the final season.

This episode was fantastic, possibly one of the best things I've seen in literally years on any show.

Rana and Suraj, did you catch the "Lost" similarities in this episodes ? 🌴🛫🌄🛬🌴 Robert Patrick aka Mays played Hibbs { the guy who got Sawyer to kill Frank, thinking he was the real Sawyer } in episode 1x16 | "Outlaws". That was the Sawyer "boar" episode, "It'll come back around". Kate & Sawyer get drunk playing "I never" | Aaron and Gabriel get drunk playing cards Locke and Boone caught in out of the blue rain storm | Aaron and Gabriel caught in out of the blue rain storm.

Gabe was once a weak pacifist and now he's a savage realist just surviving somehow(JSS) in their broken world. And Chris, it's T-1000.

One of the best episodes of the season!

This episode was crazy! Gabriel made the right decision, I wouldn't have trusted Mays either.

they thought he killed the brother and family over food that is not a person you want to have at your settlement. he did the right thing.

Robert patrick in this episode was doing a great job. The story of the twins brothers was intense and also realistic. So intense in the Middle of this video and good reaction of you, except for the fact you think Gabriel could for give Mays for his Last act.

34:00 After such a good episode finally. Why did Chris have to remind me of how crappy Michonne's send off was? That logic was crap. I agree with Chris and was frustrated with the writing. To have Michonne, of all people, just abandon her kids. As though she couldn't return and send Darryl, a tracker, to search. RJ was a toddler. We had just seen her fight and kill other kids, while pregnant, to save her own. Her decision in her final episode made no sense.

The first ad that came on as I had watched this the first time, was a Schneider's Meat commercial showing of all things, a ham. This was just after they ate the boar.....perfect timing!!! LOL!!! Aside from that -- I really enjoyed your reactions, and enjoy gathering to watch your group and the others from Sky-bound. It's nice being part of a group again. Back in my days at university -- all of us used to get together in our dorm, to watch the M*A*S*H* series. Yep, a long time ago, but very enjoyable.

Mays didn't kill his brothers family, his brother did. He choose to shoot his wife and child rather than himself playing Russian roulette. As punishment, Mays chained his twin brother up near his dead family, and forced him to watch them rot. His twin was the truly evil one, not Mays. His brother did that to him. He did say that his brother came at him with a knife, it was his brother from the start.

My favorite bonus episode so far 🙌🏻.

I can’t believe this series has been going on for 10 seasons. I remember dropping it after season 5 thinking they were dragging the story on for too long 😆

Yeah I stopped watching during season 8 and now I'm back again after it ended. I dont think it dragged on too long though (coming from someone who binged all of Supernatural^), I just thought it got boring lol. Glad I'm back to finish it, season 9 and 10 have been great.

i really hated what mays did to his brother i got a brother myself two actually and i love them so damn much and couldn't even imagine doing something like that to either of them or i couldn't even imagine something else bad happening to them and on the episode where merle died that really hurt me as much as it did daryl even though merle was a huge d*** because like i said i got brothers of my own and if something bad ever happened to one or both of them i'd probably just lose it

Mays didn't mention it but Gabriel made up his own story what he did tho the actual truth was Mays brother became unstable and betrayed him for food and then he made him play the game which he killed his own wife and daughter cause he was selfish and unstable. Mays made him play the game to see where his loyalty stood and it only proved his brother only cared for himself or was mentally unstable

I really like the episodes when looking at them seperate, but since this is the last season, right? Kinda frustrated that the main plot is really really really slow.... 3 eps in and barely any progression since the whisperer-finale. I doubt Mays gave his brother 2 bullets. I think Mays killed his brother's family and some of those families along the route. The people on the roof were killed in the same fashion as his brother's family with one left alive and tied up. The best TWD episode I've seen for a while. The way it was before Negan.

Would you guys consider doing Fear TWD? just season 6? Lol its good.

Good luck with that. I agree the anthology of Fear has upped it's quality but these guys have given up on Fear. They would have to go through the ending of 4 & the forgettable season 5 & I don't wish that on anyone.

I love Robert Patrick but I respectfully & totally disagree. I think the moral dilemma & human nature theme of this episode would be lost if they turned Hays into a "typical" big bad. Him surviving & going after Aaron & Gabe would just become a revenge movie. The Reapers, CRM & the Budget Stormtroopers should fill that role fine. Patrick's one off role & story was perfection. imo.

Well you want only action and the old actors. This show is not about that, it's about the ideology of good and bad, and always has been. In fact this episode is the best from season 10 because it's the only one that had old the walking dead vibes. It constantly made parralels to season 2 Rick and Shane, to season 6 Rick and Morgan, and their fluctuation between good and bad
