Our First Time Watching: The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 19 (One More): While on a supply run, Aaron and Gabriel find an apparently abandoned warehouse and spend the night. The next day, Aaron is missing and a gunman named Mays approaches Gabriel who tells him that this is his safehouse and that Gabriel and Aaron have taken his supplies. Mays reveals a tied-up Aaron and forces him and Gabriel to play Russian roulette. Gabriel and Aaron try to convince him that not all people are bad but he refuses and confesses what he did to his family. When Aaron is about to pull the trigger on himself, Mays tells him to stop. When Mays unties them, Gabriel kills him with the mace from Aaron's prosthetic arm. They then discover Mays' captive brother, along with the corpses of his family, in the attic. Aaron and Gabriel try to free him but he kills himself.

    If I recall, this run of episodes was very limited in the number of cast because they were desperately trying for some content during the Covid 19 shutdown. I think it produced some gems that might not have existed otherwise.

    I loved this episode. The brotherhood between Aaron and Gabriel is awesome. Mays death was shocking but justified. Then they find the horrors in the attic that sat there for over nine years. Only to bring the death that should’ve happened a decade ago. Such a depressing ending. Phenomenal episode.

    For me it's the best episode in this extended season. Gabriel and Aaron have incredible chemistry, Seth and Ross are incredible actors and this episode gave them the opportunity to go further with dialogical and very expressive scenes. Plus, who wouldn't want the legendary Terminator from the best movie going hard on their show? Hail, Robert Patrick. Great reaction, darlings.

    His brother killed his family during Russian Roulette.

  • @TomTomson81
    @TomTomson819 ай бұрын

    Of course, the brother killed his family. He locked them up there and starved them to death. The child and the woman came back after her death, and the husband had to kill them both. Gabriel has been truly lost since he killed the Whisperer in the cell. By the way, the water tower is a recurring easter egg from the comics in connection with Gabriel. Or, in general, towers. In the comics, Gabe was brutally killed by Beta on a tower. Well, Gabe has obviously survived beta here in the series. Nevertheless, the authors play with the audience, because wherever there is a tower and Gabriel is nearby, one can fear that he will die there. As far as deaths are concerned, the series has always adhered well to the original. Sometimes slightly modified or other characters have taken the place or it has only been teased and nothing happend. You can stay curious.

    „not the flowers please, stop with the flowers“ haha Trin is still traumatized😭♥️ first time watching this I was crying so hard during the russian roulette scene. They dropped a trailer for 10c before the episodes aired and I was 100% certain that one of those two was going to die.. jeez. And honestly it would've been amazing to have Robert Patrick join. I so thought he was going to be in season 11 with some of the stuff I've heard and read, articles saying he's gonna join the cast and all- NOPE, fooled me there. Gabriel is a stone cold BEAST tho.. oh boy still remember season 5 gabriel? He really is one of the best characters now and has had one of the best character developments as well in my opinion. But he was right to kill the guy.. I mean he did try to kill them and made his brother kill his family with letting the corpses rot in front of him for years 😅 yeah no way you can take him back to your community. But the way they set that up, brilliantly done! I love this episode, reminded me of the ones we've had in the second half of season 4 after the prison where we had these 2+ character- combo- side adventure- character development stories🤌🏻🤌🏻

    So they said on Talking Dead that night after the episode aired that Mays forced his brother and his family to play Russian Roulette as consequence for what he did to him That got me thinking the brothers family laying by him as only skeletons similarly resembles the other scattered skeletons that Gabriel and Aaron found throughout the episode So that begs the question Were these other families that Mays found and forced to play Russian Roulette to try and expose the levels of evil in these people Or was that just a coincidence that these bodies resembled Mays brothers family Just food for thought.

    I dont really like that Gabe killed the guy when he started to come around and trust them. could've been a good character but noo, Gabe had to blast his head in with Aarons mourning star. but ok. whateva.

    If you'd check the community page, you would see a post explaining this. But long story short, be patient. Trin is on vacation to her family and it has changed the upload schedule to KZread a little. She's on vacation and STILL working her ass off. So please, be patient and check the channel for info first before asking.

    Trust me, after 2 million times of this being told to them unnecessarily, they know. How about please, just PLEASE letting them figure that out and make up their own minds about that in the future? They don't like expectations, they have said this SO many times at this point.

    Wait, you mean the same Rob that hated Aaron when he first showed up and wanted to kill him? Who hated Gabriel when he first showed up? Who was one of the few people willing to admit that Rick was ANYTHING but innocent during the Savior war? I've said this before when people judge Rob for this unfairly, but there's a BIG difference between trying to see things from both perspectives, and thinking everyone is good. And for what you're assuming, you're just plain wrong if you actually paid any attention. And it sure as hell seems like you've never watched an intro or outro. And the hypocritical thing here is, that if we had this same black and white thinking of Gabe, the guy wouldn't have gone past his ultra coward state back then and he would have been dead long ago.
