Alpha is smarter than I thought, sending Dante to Alexandria so she could have eyes and ears there, it just made scarier to me. It was cool to see Rosita kick Dante's ass, I feel so bad for her though losing Siddiq and now her baby will never know her dad. Father Gabriel going savage on Dante shocked me, I wasn't expecting that. I knew Alpha was luring Carol and them into a trap, just why Carol did you run after her?! Love your reactions

Gabriel just let it all out, over 8 years of pent-up rage directed at Dante. And momma-bear Rosita.. Gabriel and Rosita both had character-making moments this episode. Hope to see more of them in season 10B and the future of the show.

The cave scene really reminded me of Buffy when she fell into the hellmouth and the camera pans out and we see the thousands of uber vamps and then her face drops... oooft This was such a good ep. I dont think Mary lied, I think Alpha knew she would leak info so she fed her lies... can not wait for the next half. Love it!

I think mary told the truth, she was pissed that lydia was alive and her sister died for a liar... but, alpha knew she would spill and alpha used her for that and with that she waited for them to turn up and lured them to where the horde has been moved

They kind of explained Dante's ideology. He had a son named Jimmy, that died. That screwed him up, because he said that he now didn't believe in attachment. He said that places like Alexandria could never last. So they definitely explained it.

He served in the military. Loyalty makes sense for Dante. Haven't seen any reactor remember that because it was earlier on. That explains A LOT.

If I had to guess, I'd think Dante was telling the truth to Siddiq about being a combat medic who had severe PTSD. He might have even been in the military still when the apocalypse started, had a base etc etc. Then somewhere along the way he lost his family and community before finding the Whisperers. He looked crazy broken in the beginning when Alpha was talking to him. IDK just a thought (edit: I meant 'medic" also forgot something)

Dante saw his child eaten alive from walkers, he lost his mind, maybe Alpha saved his life, and he saw her as a savior and feels loyal to her, Dante also has the idea that people who hold to hope are living in an illusion ... that this place will fall anyway and that Alpha will eventually win ... and he Knows that Alpha has an army of walkers, He thinks he chooses winning Team, maybe that's why he stayed loyal to her. I believe that the people that join the Whisperers are people that have most probably suffered inhumane kind of horrors, physically, psychologically, mentally, spiritually, that are unimaginab

I find it hard to believe Rick would be at this location. Michonne said that Tangier island is about two days (by boat) from Oceanside. Oceanside is another two days (by horse-carriage) from Alexandria. Rick was taken away by helicopter about 6 years ago. This is Rick Grimes we're talking about. If he is indeed this close to Oceanside, don't you think he'd have returned to the communities, to his family by now? I think Michonne will find Rick and this trip to Tangier Island will be what sets it all up. Virgil said he lives on a naval base, maybe they were able to get in contact with communities all over the continent (they would have the resources needed to do that). Maybe Rick is at one of those communities, on the other side of the US. I just think for this whole story with Rick being alive after all those years to make any sense, he has to be really far away from the communities.

Marquita, please go back and watch season 1 and whatever seasons you've missed, I really like your reaction with these guys, just felt more justified to knowing why us walking dead fans been with this journey through season 1-10

@D Leo It wasn't bad, it just wasn't an action packed finale like all the other finales. The pacing was good, we got to see michonne again, they finally found the time to develop rosita and gabriel, it's not like it was a filler episode

@@tabbypappy I agree and the zombies were smarter too (relatively speaking), i.e. turning doorknobs (Morgan's wife) climbing a chainlink fence (after Rick and Glenn put zombie blood & guts over themselves and then it started to rain) picking up a brick to smash against the glass (Rick & Andrea in the department store). Also, remember that iconic scene with Rick at the gas station, unexpectedly discovering and then having to kill that little zombie girl who had just picked up a Teddy bear from the ground? When you realize that Aaron and Scott and some of the background characters like that red head chick that watched Judith are the only ones who have lived in Alexandria forever whereas ppl like Reg, Deanna, Spencer, Aiden, Pete, Jessie and Ron and Sam and Olivia and Eric and Denise have all been dead for a decade now.

Does anyone even actually try to use reaction videos (with under 15 minutes of footage from the episode) as a market substitute? Doesn't strike me as a necessary disclaimer. I just can't fathom someone watching a reaction to an abridged PIP of the episode in lieu of the actual show.

Also, it's similar to random disclaimers on any product. It's not likely that The Normies would get sued by a media company for unlicensed "broadcasting" if the shows, but they could then point to this disclaimer before every video. (If they ever did get sued though, the lawyer and court fees will quickly bleed them dry, unfortunately, whether they're in the wrong or right)

I commented on your episode 6 reaction, a bit blown away that you had yet to realize Dante was a whisperer. I had zero insider information, and yet I felt like they made it blatantly obvious. After all, I believe it was in the very first episode of season 10, in The first of many to-come of Siddiq’s PTSD flashbacks, that he stares at Dantes mouth for an uncomfortable amount of time whilst having a brief flashback to the barn. Dante ultimately snaps him out of it by making a pseudo homosexual jab about how Saddiq’s long gaze at his mouth is giving him a special tingle. After all, when it comes to whisperers, the only thing you can really expect to remember is their mouth, and their voice. From this moment forward for the rest of season 10 A, Saddiq was never the same, and the worst of his flashbacks always occurred around Dante. Anyhow, I think this is important, because, unlike previous seasons, it lacked any subtlety. It was really shoved down our throats as viewers. Regardless of whether or not you paid attention to how badly he affected Siddiq, Dante’s behavior was never natural, even for a sarcastic/out/there kind of guy. What I think you guys have failed to realize is that there is also a spy in Oceanside. Jules, to be exact. (It’s important to always remember that every scene has a purpose. There is no wasted time on a show this popular and expensive.) with that said, start hypothesizing on what the scene with Aaron and the little girl meant. The scene with his license plate collection, and the story of the community in California that he was once with. That will come in to play ;) But I digress. Unfortunately, what I’m saying is that Luke is going to die. The interactions that seem out of place should key you into something, always. There are no fillers scenes for comic relief. Now we know that Luke is charming and charismatic once you get to know him, but with Jules, You have a gorgeous girl, that we’ve never really seen before, much less in a prolonged scene with dialogue. She awkwardly hits on an unkempt, chubby stranger she literally just met, including making multiple verbal sexual innuendos/advances with her words. The scene is so very out of place, and yet I don’t understand why people don’t see the significance of scenes like that. She’s all smiles and far too helpful and eager to please. Now, His obsession with her has been played up, and when Virgil showed up, she was the one to immediately blame all issues on him when the walkers showed up. All to direct attention away from herself. So if anything, I guess I’m just calling it now. I realize this is long, but I use Siri talk to text, and it’s really just stream of consciousness, so it’s easy and fast to write long comments ;) I’ll also go on record to say that Virgil is not what he seems. He needs a skiff to make it out to his real boat, which is at anchor, but there is no naval base, and there are no weapons. Michonne is in for a surprise. Just think about it for a moment. First of all, he has no sense of self-preservation, to the point that he’s even been called out for it in dialogue. No one can seem to understand how he has made it so long. Moreover, he is clearly not right in the head. Despite being a wounded prisoner, he leaps obsessively at The leader’s young daughter over a book for HIS daughter, that she is merely reading. My best guess is, he’s in denial like the Governor, and his family is dead. Probably being kept as walker’s on his boat. No well established community on a naval base with military weapons to spare is going to send ONE unarmed crazy guy on a two day voyage “for supplies.” If I have to take my guess further, I’d say that when we see Michonne dragging walkers behind her with a chain again, Virgil is likely to be one of them. Finally, I believe that Magna is going to be one of two deaths sustained by the group that was tricked into the cave where they all tumble down to the “Walker Rave.” Jerry will not be the other ;)

Pretty sure they foreshadowed Rosita's death with the talk she had with Gabriel. He's not there for her, and Eugene won't be either since he'll be all into the radio lady.

Rosita's been presented as one of the most capable fighters since she arrived and we've literally never seen Sadiq be savage so why would it be shocking that she could overpower Dante? Esp when Sadiq was caught off guard.

Dante's Motive was said in his conversation with Gabe. He wasn't tempted and sticks to his beliefs because he and the whisperers believe places like Alexandria will eventually fall and the ppl that reside there are filled with false hope and pretend like they arent as brutal and "bad", if you will, as the rest of the people who do the things they have to do for survival of when they feel the need to. (I.E. the whisperers & others) His point was made when Gabe killed him, although alexandria will still stand... for now maybe. I think it's simply just having a pessimistic mindset and low moral code in the apocalypse.

I think that the people that could die in that cave could be: Kelly, Magna, Aaron or Carol. I think Carol is nearing the end of her story with all the mental issues that we've seen, I think it's foreshadowing that her death is coming soon.

A treeline won't mask the sound of 5,000 growling zombies and people are gonna regret trusting Virgil, the dude is clearly suspicious and not trustworthy, you can tell by looking at him, he's hiding something dark.

+The Normies several things I wanted to mention: 1.) They totally can either kill a few walkers and pull a season one “guts” and walk through them or pull a KHALESSI and BURN THEM ALL? 2.) I DONT LIKE ANY OF THE NEW PEOPLE BESIDES JERRY AND JUDITH! Also I THEY CAN ONLY REALLY GET RID OF ONE OG AND NO MORE UNLESS THEY REALLY MAKE ME LOVE THESE NEW PEOPLE NEXT SEASON BEFORE IM OUT.... 3.)I AM NERVOUS THAT MICHONNE WILL GO OUT IN SOME POINTLESS WAY LIKE CARL AND SIDDIQUE! 4.) I HAVE A FEELING EZEKIEL WILL SQUAD UP AND GO FIND THEM AND EZEKIEL WILL SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR CAROL? Considering he thinks he is going to die because of his lump...which wouldn’t it be funny if he did do that (well not really funny but ironic and kind of gross) and in his last moments his lump gets split somehow and it ended up being a giant cyst after all that lol. 5.) WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT OF DANTE?! AND WHY KILL THE OLD LADY? IF HE WAS PLANNING ON DOING THOSE THINGS DONT YOU THINK THERE WOULD BE AN OVERALL PLAN TO MOVE IN WHILE EVERYONE WAS SICK? 6.) THE WHOLE LYDIA RUNNING AWAY THING TO ME DOESNT MAKE SENSE! SHE EQUATED CAROL NOT DISCLOSING ONE PIECE OF INFO TO HER AS BEING LIKE HER MOM WHO FORCED HER TO WEAR DEAD PEOPLE’S SKIN, EAT WORMS, GET BEATEN AND WHIPPED OVER NOTHING AT ALL, OH AND SHE KILLED HER DAD IN FRONT OF HER...but yeah on minor thing is reason enough to run away from everything? I AM HAVING TROUBLE BELIEVING THAT. But whatever. 7.) This is kind of a repeat but still.. I hated the episode before this finale because I just thought there was one too many misleads and fake outs and twists that made it super confusing...but after the mid season finale I hate it less. I JUST HOPE THIS NEXT SEASON DOES MICHONNE JUSTICE AND IF THEY MUST KILL SOMONE FROM THE OG’S IT BETTER ONLY BE ONE!! NO MORE THAN THAT!! BECAUSE I WANT TO AT LEAST SOMEWHAT LIKE SOME OF THE NEW PEOPLE BEFORE THEY JUST BECOME MAIN CHARACTERS ALL OF A SUDDEN WITHOUT HAVING TO WORK FOR IT...I swore SIDDIQUE and DANTE WERE GOING TO BE MAIN CHARACTERS AROUND FOE AWHILE but I guess not.

Yeah this was one of the weakest midseason finales, right behind 7 and 8. My favorite will always be Too Far Gone and that's a lot to live up to. I'm excited to see how they get out of the cave and Michonne/Virgil's quest to the navy base.

When you think about it, they did pretty much the same strategy in season 1 when they were stuck in Atlanta. They pulled in a couple of single walkers to gut for camoflauge. It was working smashingly until it rained. No rain in caves at least this time. Time to get smelly.

You guys kinda seem done with the show lol maybe it was just this episode wasn’t as great seemed a little boring but the second half looks great wish we didn’t have to wait almost 4 months

The show has somehow made Carol's character do a 180 we wanted her to kill Alpha but now her attitude and actions of late made people turn on her cause she's risking too many lives. Strictly season 10 not before

Dylan Scott . Season 9 was great but season 10 has been so inconsistent. Just because the camera work and dialogue is better doesn’t mean the writing is better. The cave is one of the most dumb decisions the writers have made. Actually every story arc or “plot point” they incorporate that isn’t from the comics is utter shit. Because these writers aren’t original and don’t know how to come up with plots that don’t come from Kirkmans ass

How didnt anyone see it coming? I did. That's why this season was boring for me. New guy just appears out of nowhere, and that doesnt raise suspicion after 10 seasons of the walking dead?!
