Father Gabriel went off and brutally killed Dante, something i certainly didn't expect but welcomed. He assumes responsibility during that scene, where he blurs the line between mercy and cruelty, went to judge, jury and stabbing executioner badass real fast. Michonne : "My mercy prevails over my wrath." Father Gabriel : "Let my wrath prevail my justice."

I'm going to miss this more than the actual show.

WOW! Even Dante-despite how deeply cynical and hateful and evil he was-even HE was shocked at how barbarically and savagely Gabriel attacked him! That look in his eyes when Gabriel first stabbed him wasnt just from the pain-he was completely SHOCKED by Father Gabriel's ferocity! His final thoughts were like "SHIT! I hate people, but THIS was beyond even my deepest, lowest expectations of mankind! Did i fuck up?!"

so for that 'my wrath prevails...' quote, everybody thought Michonne was talking about Rick huh? I'd think he was more than just a 'friend' but I guess that's just me.... I automatically went to Siddiq -- he just died, so she'd been thinking of him, and the quote originally came from him-- that's where Rick got it from... and over the years since, I'm sure he shared it with the crew a few times...

The governor guy is just the best thing

Your are the second person! The first one didn't come out and say it like you just did, I had to assume it and lay it out in my comment. I believe your absolutely right, *a writer's trick to help keep us thinking about Rick.* The last we heard it was from him so of course he was the first person we thought of when she said that. Some of us objected to the idea that it became a 'saying' of Rick's. She couldn't have heard either of them say it based on what was shown on the screen *BUT it makes much more sense that Siddiq would REGULARLY repeat it, because it's a part of his faith.* Good catch!

Everyone goes on about it being Carol's fault that they are all trapped. Carol is blinded by her grief and rage. Everyone knows this. Daryl knows that she is irrational right now, but HE tells them all to go after her and they all just blindly run into a dark cave. Not one of them thought about leaving a lookout or making sure someone was able to go for help if things went bad. With this kind of thinking, none of them would have lasted long in this world. Unfortunate way to leave us with a cliffhanger.
