I fell asleep while editing this and so it wasn't ready for yesterday's upload haha sorry. You can probably hear that I was a little bit sick when I recorded this one. I've been saving up the best of the bloopers to put into a video.
None of the drawings I had done were long enough to fill one videos length so I put in a couple. A few of them are gifts for some friends of mine. They're meant to be quick and goofy. The first one is a baby mel, or a meep. Cute little things. Ill definitely be doing more art of Sage eventually.
On another note, getting things together, set reminders to drink water, set an editing schedule so videos are done sooner, etc. My stress levels are now back to their moderate levels once again.
Also, thanks to my roommate for listening to my videos every morning even though I'm sure you're already tired of hearing my voice every day anyway lol

Millions of lightyears is actually possible for large nebulae...larger than a the milky way galaxy, so not the kinds of nebulae you'd find in the galaxy, but possible, especially if FTL were OP enough in that universe to allow intergalactic travel. But yeah, trillions can only be hyperbole.

  • @IONATVS

@@Danger_N00dle Not all nebulae are formed the same way, but you are correct that I probably oversold how common it is. I did a cursory google search before answering previously and the article I found that said “even millions of lightyears” was not as well sourced as it looked at first glance. There are 2 recognized nebulae over a million ly in their largest dimension, and a few others in the high hundreds of thousands, but several of these are better described as nebula complexes than single contiguous nebulae. 1 or 2 thousand ly seems to be the largest that form from single supernovae. I apologize for speaking quickly without double-checking. The largest nebula complex, the Lyman-Alpha Blob Concentration, IS, however, among the largest structures ever discovered in the universe, at 200 million ly across, with the largest single blob within it ~300 thousand ly across all by itself. And the runner up, the NGC 262 Halo Cloud envelops the entirety of one of the largest galaxies we know of, resulting in a 1.3 million ly diameter spiral nebula.

Void is strange - it's place, where everything begins, and also place, where everything ends. That is why it can drive human mad - it's something you can feel, but not logically understand. It's like touch of infinity, touch of whole universe, touch of things, that existed and things, that will exist in the future.

My father was afraid of flying so that was the only way we could actually get out of the country. There was this one ship that went to europe that lasted a week just on the open atlantic One night i decided to go out and explore the ship some more and just so happened to look out a window. It was so dark that you couldn't see where the sea ended and the sky began! It was beautiful, i spent at least an hour running around trying to get a better look at the stars. I ended up stargazing on the room's balcony. I must've been there for 2 hours just talking to the sky. I cried, though i can't remember why. I only remember how it looked and how it made me feel. That was the night i decided i wanted to be an astronomer

Humans are gravity addicts. While they come from a normal sequence star they have a particularly large gravitational field. This explains the skeleton structure, but also the phenomenon that humans enjoy falling. This translates to high speed travel, but as mammal descendents from tree species falling is built Into Humans as the easiest way to accelerate, which some find highly enjoyable.
