@@davestephens3246 you still dont get what I was saying. If it's a good impersonation you should be able to say literally anything in that voice and people know who you're impersonating. Jake Roberts could have read his fucking grocery list and people would have known who it was. You have to have the gravelly voice to do Savage and the lisp to do Dusty. What I said was had he not given context or used specific words to give it away you wouldn't know who Eric was impersonating because the voice wasn't even close.

In the early 80's Randy Savage lived in my hometown - He worked out at a place called Sin The's - I would watch him through the window from the main entrance while he was curling a huge amount of weight on a straight bar. The guy was jacked and very strong. One time after working out - I was in the hot tub they had there and Randy got in it with me - just him and me. I was like holy shit!! My mother was a barber back then and she would trim his beard. He was extremely nice and loved kids. One time mom said he went out to his car and came back with an 8x10 picture of him and signed it for one of the kids there. Straight up good dude. I miss him..

We saw him working out a few times at the local YMCA here in Frankfort, KY. He seemed to be an OK guy, didn't see the show he put on in front of the cameras. This was about mid-1980s and he hadn't made it super-big yet, he was probably visiting Ms. Elizabeth's family and it was the only gym in town. I went to high school with her brother John but never realized his sister was with Macho Man.

Once upon a time, I ran into Randy at a local strip club after a WCW show. I got the courage to go up and shake his hand and ask to get a pic taken together, and I'll never forget the 4 words spoken to me as only the Macho Man could speak. "Uh huh." "Yeah." "Cool." And those are the things I still use for my Randy impression, some 20+ years later.

My mom and dad were able to pay to have Randy Savage, come to my birthday party with his championship belt. Geez what a sweet sweet man, miss Elizabeth was a sweet sweet woman!! They ate and made themselves apart of the party. Let me say at first Randy didn't want to eat. Not because he didn't feel comfortable, but because he didn't want to take food out of another kids mouth. When my dad finally convinced him we had enough to go around. They ate, they took pictures and signed autographs for everyone at the party. You couldn't ask to meet a better pair. They were both just genuine and humble, he was never that intense at my birthday party. So for everyone to say he was always intense. I never saw that, I saw a sweet sweet human with his beautiful sweet sweet wife!!
