I know nothing of this, but I know he is an amazing singer.

As a low bass who always had a really hard time hitting the usual high notes associated with rock and metal, Till’s vocals are so satisfying. Finally a metal song I can comfortably sing along to.

As he has such a low voice he makes E4 sounds really high when he sings it! He actually sings an E1 in Bestrafe Mich at 1.15 seconds.

No he doesent. Its an e2 like In Rammstein. E1 is inhuman.

@@amemename Plenty people have gone to E1 and below. Many can reach D1 and some can reach B0 and A0

Mutter is another great example, so is ich hasser kinder and and ich tu dir weh. I may not speak German but some videos give you an idea and I have picked up on a few words. So I kinda have an idea of the song. Even if I didn't I would still love Till and Rammstein. They are just too damn good. Thanks to till I also was able to discover Peter Tägtgren who is an amazing musical mind and artist.

i've always wondered, if Till's voice is so deep, who does the higher sounding harmonies in some songs, like Adieu or Keine Lust. i know what Till's falsetto sounds like and they don't really sound like him i know sometimes Richard and Paul do the harmonies when Rammstein preform live, so maybe it's Paul or Richard. or maybe Till has a bigger vocal range than i thought.

@@rpoutine3271 uhhh no? Not unless you mean in falsetto. The fifth octave is almost impossible to reach for a bass without the use of mixed voice or falsetto. Performable 5th octave notes is a tenor thing if we're not using those

@@DubiousDubs The mixed voice is part of the voice and there are basses in metal who are able to belt in the fifth octave, while also being able to let out first octave notes. Once you use high frequencies through twang, overtones and other extended techniques it can even be easy to perform notes that are far out of your raw vocal range.

Sometimes, a little bit of chest-fry, but a lot of chest as well

D2 уже слабенько идёт, Е2 тоже когда как. Е4 тяжело. Самый нормальный рабочий диапазон для Тилля F2-C4, как раз под бас-баритон и подходит.

Ну, если с другой стороны посмотреть, то "рыки и хрипы" - вокальные техники, как у октавистов, например. Это аналогично микстованию нот для плотности высоких нот, но их почему-то в диапазон включают...

@@AlyoshaBelushin4444 Ну, у октавистов всё-таки не просто хрип, а более мудрёная техника, да чистый тон вплоть до контроктавы очень сильный и уверенный - голосовой аппарат такой (низ большой октавы звучит очень сильно и объёмно, по сравнению с обычными басами). "Хрип" же в их случае уже сверхнизкий, и его, по моему мнению, тоже бессмысленно включать в "рабочий" диапазон. Насчёт микста ничего не могу сказать.
