How often do you feed your bird with fruits and vegetables?

I was feeding Aqua the budgie apples, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, carrots every day right until the end. He lived to be fourteen and a half. He just recently passed. I believe the natural vitamins he got each day helped him fight the bad stuff. I also gave him some pro biotics throughout the last 8 years mixed in his dry food (5 times a week). I hope this encourages many of you to provide a healthy diet with vitamins to your budgie children. It really does make a difference. 😊

Hi! I rescued a bonded pair of buddies 6 months ago...supposedly they will be 2 years old this July. Not much is known about their care or lack thereof before their surrender and the people at the shelter didn't know much about the care birds require. I have offered them all kinds of veggies and fruits and they do not partake. I've even recently tried dandelions and the leaves. I can only get them to eat seed. They are very happy, active, vocal, all the good stuff! I don't know what else to try to do and a lot of $$ on fruits and veggies have gone to waste. I, myself, am getting ready to undergo major jaw surgery this July, July 16th to be exact. This means I have braces right now and can't eat things that require biting into or lots of crunchy chewing. I've hung lettuce leaves and other leafy greens so they could forage, I've tried chopping them in pieces and even ground them to mushy consistency. Should I worry that they are not eating fruits and veggies?

I give my budgies Soft food 2days a week I skipped egg food bcs it's VERY HOT 🔥 I give veggies for 3-2days and sometimes fruits for 1-2 days And I give them some vitamins/summer medicines According to my vet 🌹😊❤️

@@bhartivarshney1661 it's a monthly course. Here R the medicines 1/ Electromin (powder) 1gm in 1ltr water.make sure to change their water after 6hrs. Give this every month for 5-7dys 2/ Civet vet (powder) 1gm in 1ltr water. make sure to change their water after 6hrs. Give this every month for 5-7dys I give my budgies Lisovit every month. It makes their immune system good. And it also helps them in extreme stages of stress. Lisovit - 1gm 1 ltr water. Change water after 6hrs. Give them 5-7days

I have a 2 month old budgie who is dependent still on the every 4 hour feeding how do i get him to eat the bird seeds on his own all of his siblings are drinking and eating food like the parents but him
