I've said this before and I'll say it again; I'm not a fan of Elisabeth but this was incredibly immature. The way she shoots Elisabeth's offer of kindness with the leather shoes comment is so childish. Lead by example.

The look on Joy's face while Elizabeth is talking is priceless.

She did snub her. Even though she talks to her in the interview, you can see she barely looks at her. A couple of times when Elizabeth asks her a question she answers looking at the other women o the opposite side.

My appreciation for Alicia Silverstone just went straight out the roof. That's the kind of person that is an amazing friend. I'm sorry, lets cut the crap. Elizabeth Hasslebeck is a horrible debater/discussion type person. I don't care what someone's opinion is as long as you're respectful. However, she took everything as a personal offense to her, and cut everyone off as a result of it. She showed no respect or common courtesy to Rosie. So yes, I'm glad to know/see Alicia snub her.

Oh that was so classic; Hasselbeck is forced to just put her hands on her hips. Hasselbeck tried to get back at Silverstone by asking if the shoes are leather!

This interview is so nervous sounding. You can tell there was just a show-down 5 minutes prior! Ah, the good ol' days of The View.

The catfight continues! What a delicious day on "The View" this was! I really hope that Alicia snubbed Lizzy on purpose. Elisabeth later said she didn't do it on purpose. However, I like to think that she was having Rosie's back because Elisabeth is an annoying dumdum head.

You forget that these people often know each other personally, and usually meet before the show. She greeted her verbally as you might someone with whom you have limited, and possibly negative acquaintance. The fact is she moved toward Rosie with whom she has worked in the past and is actually friends of a sort. There is no requirement to hug everyone. That's fake. I give Alicia credit for not being a fake.

Stop calling Alicia an airhead. She is an actress who played a valley girl in a movie 15 years ago. That's not who she really is. She was nervous on this show and it's hard to organize your thoughts when you have a bunch of loud women talking back and forth and interrupting you every time you try to get your point across. Alicia is far from dumb. She is very intelligent and super down to earth. We need more people like her in this world. She is a published author. Read her book. It's fantastic!

Rosie and Elisabeth were in a huge fight earlier on during the airing so Alicia was definitely picking sides; I cannot say I blame her Elisabeth is so inauthentic and I can't stand her. Its interesting how desperately Elisabeth was trying to get Alicia's attention when it was obvious Alicia didn't even want to look at her.

Well Elizabeth asked her questions she answered them. for Alicia to NOT answer and ignore LIZ isnt a good idea on a TV show, but for sure she did NOT want to greet Elizabeth at all, and certainly NO hug. so yes she snubbed her and its her choice so GOOD For her and good for her not to FAKE. U r invited on do you have to love/like everyone on the show of course not but if someone on the show has some personal ideas and opinions that are shared on a tv show, A has the right not to accept her views and opinions so thats what I get from this, its not one off over the fight its A opinion of LIZ and for me that is OK. Chit chat of course but it doesnt mean she has to hug her ffs!!

Speaking as someone who has access to media in both my country and the united states, the best way for an American to be really informed on what is going on in their country is to watch outside media sorces. Whether it be the war or economical or enviromental and especially political, because they are not owned by the republican party. Its the one bonus you guys have by being such a super country, every other country watches. So you guys have access to see into your own country. Educational!

You can tell her and Rosie obviously have a friendship or at least are close to one another based on Rosie mentioning them talking about Alicia being vegan and so I’m sure Alicia saw what went on backstage and didn’t agree or like it at all,when she snubbed her,Elizabeth clearly felt offended and purposely injected herself in the conversation obnoxiously so,trying to throw some bitchy remarks in there and I love how Alicia made it very clear the snub was no accident by shutting her comments down. It’s clear who’s side she was on

Thank you finally someone sees at the way I see it they were rude their rude to Elizabeth because she doesn't think like them Rosie O'Donald she's horrible and in all words to sum it up she's just horrible and I'm sorry Alicia Silverstone could have been respectful and shook Elizabeth's hand you know what she's showed her true self when she did that and there's a way you could be still respectful and still not agree with someone.

I think she did that because she doesn't like what Elizabeth represents.. And if she doesn't like her she doesn't have to hug her, and later on she answers her because it is after all an interview and that's why she went on the show.. She's being professional.

Seeing Silverstone makes me realize her acting in "Clueless" wasn't't much of a stretch *yah* *yah* *yah*

people say she was nervous, some say she snubbed Hasselback - to me, it looked like she was nervous and/or rushing to hug Barbara Walters and Joy Behar. It would have been the formal thing to do, but she seemed to just be thinking of hugging Joy and Barbara.
