@@brontewcat I actually remember same kind of scenario from "Sea quest" (I think it was sea quest, episode "Second chance"). where they travelled to a time before cuban missile crisis in 1962 (twist was that without their involvement, WW3 would've happened) and the group almost got beaten for committing the ultimate sin of the era: one of them was black and travelled in a car with a white woman(or was it talking to a white woman? I can't remember excatly). When others just wondered what kind of idiotic reason was that to beat someone, black guy had to remind them that they're in early 60's and segregation was a very real thing.

RustyKn1ght There is a definite improvement now. However, I think the racism is now far more subtle, and not sanctioned by law. I am ‘white’ so I don’t experience racism, but friends who are considered ‘non white’ experience it in really subtle ways.

I REALLY HATE AUTO CORRECT!!

My favorite "Chris Judge " moment was actually Tapping talking about filming in the arctic circle. They were talking about how polar bears look at humans as seals and Judge looked at Tapping and whispered, "some of us look like seals more than others, I'm not going." Teal'c wasn't in the arctic scenes...

From what his fellow SG-1 actors have said, Chris Judge is more afraid of wildlife than the average person. He's particularly not fond of bears and according to Michael Shanks and Ben Browder he refused to leave his trailer for many hours after a bear was spotted somewhere near the filming site during a woodlands scene.

In that Jaffa joke scene, I have always, ALWAYS wanted Selmac's eyes to glow as he bursts out laughing in the Deep symbiote voice, ending up short on breath with tears rollin down his eyes. He then says that's the best joke he's heard in two centuries, then proceeds to tell a few Goa'uld jokes to the rest, that make everyone else scratch their heads, while Teal'c rolls about laughing ;]

@yeah I'm John Assal I like how you describe Tealc as being a scholar and a diplomat because it's true in a lot of ways. Tealc has extensive knowledge about the Goauld and their culture and language, what with him being like 100 years old in Children of the Gods, and he is also very skilled in reaching other people's hearts and inspiring them to unite under a common cause. Having said all that, however, I must say that I take issue with the comparison to Drax because I personally feel it diminishes the perception of the importance and usefullness of Tealc's skills and assets to SG1. Tealc isn't a scholar and diplomat compared to Drax. No. Tealc is a scholar and diplomat, period. Now, as far as Drax goes I don't really care about cookie cutter, cardboard cutouts like him, comic books preexisting his current cinematic persona notwithstanding.

The perplexed "No" from the hippie about the war with Canada was legitimately some amazing acting.

They did so well with his character growth by the end of the series you could barely tell he was from another planet and then you go watch the early seasons and it's so stark of a difference

Chris Judge is an amazing actor. It's a shame what happened to him post StarGate. He deserved better. It's why i'm happy he got recognition with God of War. Voice aside, his acting chops are amazing. I dare other actors to put themselves through the Teal'c routine for that long. Even Richard Dean Anderson said in no unclear terms that he had to have control over the character because he would NOT, absolutely NOT play O'Neil as his predecessor did. Don't get me wrong, O'Neill is a very memorable character because of it, but it speaks volumes of Judge's resilience. It took... what 4 or 5 seasons for him to finally take liberties with the character and grow it beyond just the broken man Teal'c was (his child, his wife, his responsibility towards his people and the immeasurable guilt he feels - seen through the show's first seasons).

Rodney McKay's character growth was probably the biggest of all characters in the Stargate universe, but that said Teal'q's growth is a very close second. It was amazing watching him from the first two episodes change in the third episode.

A Jaffa joke I made while drunk. So Apophis visits earth and sees a great many horned animals. He finds them to be great warriors and infests them with symbiotes.He conquered the Galaxy with his Apophelopes.

Have you guys seen Christopher when he was a teenager in MacGyver? He might've been as old as 20, but he played a high schooler in a MacGyver episode with RDA, he pretty much looked the same, just younger. I was shocked the first time I seen it, because it's just weird seeing the difference in age between him & RDA, the younger people are, the difference in age seems more extreme.

Tealc progressed so well through the series. Season 6-10 he spoke so much more and his voice because so deep, clear and smooth

The jaffa joke honest was a little funny, but Teal'c laughing, and loudly at that, is some scary shit that still haunts my nightmares.

The last clip I swear they brought across the feeling of ONeill having to explain something scientific to Teal'c SO SO SO damn well! You can see how he waits for Teal'c to shut him up like the other usually do. But he actually manages to simply transfer that black hole thing to Teal'c via simple terms. And he is perfectly pleased with it.

Teal’c being sassy when he says “no” in the interview was hilarious.

I can watch this everyday. Never gets old. 5/5

I kinda see where Teal'c joke was coming from in a visual sense but his laugh was better than the joke lol

I thought at least Daniel would have laughed and the silence made me feel bad for teal'c but I sure did laugh with him. Teal'c to me was one of the biggest character build in the show.

if I ever meet Christopher Judge. "mister Judge, sir.. can I ask you to do the eyebrow thing, please.." and if he says *indeed, i will most likely squeal like a schoolgirl.. ( I am a man of 36 years and I am not ashamed to admit this )

teal'c was my favorite with jack's collaboration i always laughed like how teal'c dialogues were seriously funny and how he said those words with straight serious face 😄😄

I loved the character I used to catch myself saying indeed and the head nod. I wish he would have done other shows or movies.

He seemed like a calm and reasonable person

I loved how when Teal'C is in public he manages to be the most suspicious person in the room. It's like the bad disguise gimmick.

And this show is still the best SF out there, and probably it won't be better in the near future. Good old shows with alot of seasons, alot of episodes, alot of quality and quantity, nowadays you rarely see this.

How did he keep a straight face while delivering those lines... I've got no idea

9:32 for some reason has always been the funniest moment in SG1 for me. That & when O'Neill calls Camulus "Camel's ass."
