The animation of this show sure has come a long way. Means they've made that much money over the years. Just wish all the movie stores I go to didn't have JUST Season 5 on DVD.

This was the pilot, it looked like crap, because it was probably low budget. The 1st season didn't look that bad, it was just low resolution and some action scenes from the early seasons look bloody amazing. The character design also looks good. In fact... I'd argue that in some ways the show's animation quality regressed, because of less experimental scenes with intense movement.

@@crimsonlanceman7882 Later seasons tried to be more "realistic" which made the show lose a lot of charm for me. I liked the more angular and cartoony designs of the early seasons.

You can eat your words or eat the knife. Choose wisely.

I find it kinda hard to take brock seriously when he is wearing strap sandals. Still wouldn't try to take his knife though.

Remember this Brock Samson? The guy who tried to make sense of how an crocodile got into a storage compartment only after killing it and thought “they’ll turn up” after getting mixed up with a hooker while looking for hank and dean?

I do kinda miss this low budger animation though.

@@stingerjohnny9951 This style they were going for reminds me more of those flash animations you'd find on New grounds or KZread. Like the Lobo flash series or that Kung Pow Fooey short.

I just noticed that Brock was wearing sandals in the pilot.

They were kind of on vacation so it makes sense.

I never seen this show before one of my guildmates linked me this clip and told me that he imagines me making that face the big guy makes at the end whenever i go "total psycho mode" in a game

I would ask Brock politely to hand over the knife and say please at the end and reassure him that it would be returned to him when he is ready to leave and say thank you for your peaceful cooperation… …And not try to rudely take it from him without permission and end up like that crocodile… Plus on the side note I would put some gloves on to not contaminate my hands with the blood of that now dead animal.
