    If these bans were designed to "protect communities" they would go after the gangs and criminals, not the men and even women who are commited to protecting their families and property.

    That is NOT what the USSC did, they said they will not consider it UNTIL it finishes it's current lawsuit. And they will address it if(when) the lower court FAILS to follow their Bruen decision.

    Trouble is ALL the affected inferior appeals courts are foot dragging on the 2A cases, probably hoping for a change in the SCOTUS balance. In the meantime our rights are violated, people are or will be jailed and fined. It's just plain wrong, IF SCOTUS was doing what you say then the GVR should have included some message for the affected Appeals Courts to stop dicking around and move the cases forward.
