I watch Captain Sandy ....I aspire to be like her. Respectful, Cool, fair and confident. She is my favorite Captain. I am so happy she has found love after her cancer scare. Do survive a serious motorcycle accident and then cancer on top of that speaks to the fact that her work is not done here on earth. She is a beautiful soul.

In my opinion Malia is a dangerous person to work with, she is not a team player at all.

Cant stand her micromanaging she and MahIia can stay home

She reminds me of my first commander when I was in the Air Force. Awesome woman!

Malia used her looks to get ahead.(you do the math) now that she is in spotlight her real self comes out.. Not so good.. might be knocked of the ladder ..

They are both horrible , autocratic , narcissistic, low charisma leaders . Both evil and useless !!!!

I love Captain Sandy! How she found the patience to work with certain crew members in this show is amazing. I'd given up on people after a third chance, with Sandy they seem to get 100 chances and if needed even a 101st chance, it's incredible. She allows them to make mistakes and teach them if they show potential to make it in yachting industry. Below deck and the actual yachting industry is soo different! Seems like many people seem to forget this is a show and more than half of the scenes that were shot never see the light of day. For example how many times Sandy tried to talk with Hannah, but Hannah (who told Sandy she only does the job for the money) kept walking away from her. Hannah didn't want to learn or improve, Sandy was right to fire her, which in my opinion she should've done in season 3 already. I only kept watching for Sandy as to me it was Hannah who ruined the show, such a drama queen! I felt soo happy when I found out Hannah was fired!

Stop trying to make her and malia heroes,...they suck and ruined the show!..let it go!

@@theart8039 no one is putting down strong women,..in fact women are supposed to support women and lift one another up,..not claim they are there to break boundaries then go through one another’s private belongings and ruin another ladies career fo the sole purpose of a show. You might want to re check what you consider ordinary and 💪🏽 strong. Captain Sandy and Malia are both hypocritical. Hence why Malia has to defend her own sexuality now on Social Media while Sandy is trying to out her 🙄...These aren’t the pillars of morality or girl code.

Wasn't very 'compassionate' for Kiko this season. Constantly criticizing him but allowed Tom's disgusting behavior. Sorry, not buying it. Team Kiko.

Don't forget it's a show and a lot of what happened on the boat, it didn't air. Don't judge people before you get to know them.

OK so this video in entitled "untold truth" so why the heck are we getting stories that she's already told the series....

This video says absolutely nothing that those who follow the series have not seen or heard before. Waste of time.

Sandy behavior was an embarrassment and such a disgrace to watch. Besides Hannah was the show. Not interested in it now without Hannah. Sandy's ego has inflated so much that she ruined the show.

It said Captain Sandy was “A FAN FAVORITE????”😂😂😂Ummmmm....”NOT ANYMORE!” “After this year, sadly, I absolutely can not stand her nor her “Mini-Me Malia!” If she remains as Captain on nx yrs. series, I won’t be watching! This year it should have been called “THE CAPTAIN SANDY & MALIA SHOW!” This show has gone so far downhill that it is now, quite frankly, painful to watch. Her fawning over Malia turns my stomach! The two of them dominated every single episode of this series, this yr. Their setting Hannah up was just so disgusting to watch! Captain Sandy then fired Keto, so Malia could have her boyfriend on the same ship as her, did away with me. Do they really think viewers are that stupid that we couldn’t see through this little “duos plot???” These two have the biggest egos I have ever seen & Captain Sandy has morphed into “HELICOPTER SANDY” this yr., micromanaging, hovering, listening in on “EVERYTHING!” Ironically though, when Malia’s boyfriend became Chef, she wasn’t breathing down his neck, like she did with Keto, making him perpetually nervous but kept her hands relatively off him. They have lost so many viewers this yr because frankly, there is not one lovable, never mind “LIKABLE,” CREW MEMBER on this series this yr!!!

@@edwin4846 no-one is perfect on that boat, as I said she kinds of rubs me the wrong way sometimes, I have been in the armed forces, but if the ultimate goal is to provide excellent service to the paying customers, but compared the f ups on board...she is definitely not the worst. Just remember , many times crew that is kept on is done for waiting on TV not to the proper operations on a High End Boat....Let me ask you this, If you were paying $200K / Week would you still be so patient with any of the service that some of the customers received....Have you ever been to a Hotel when you see an American that feels that they did not get the service they felt they deserved....Hmmmm would you still be so generous to Hanna...she was no better than Captain Sandy but had first hand contact to the PAYING customer.

captain Sandy is a micro manager And if that's what you call a people person then I couldn't work for that person . somebody that's always look up over your shoulder . And captain Sandy is always looking for a problem even when there isn't one. And what I mean is you don't walk up to a guest while they're eating and say is the food good cause if the food isn't good they will tell you. It's more like she presses until she gets a complaint. A guest can say things are good and she'll keep going, are you sure? You can tell me. Nothing is wrong? Like she wants to focus and find the bad.

If your gaydar didn't go off with Captain Sandy take your gaydar into the shop it needs fixing

i seen captains let go of crew members in the middle of italy they had to catch a flight home.

I’d work for her any day , she is straight down the line , knowledgeable and at times kind when needed , a great boss 😌

No she isn’t - she avoids confrontation and making tough decisions at all costs. Delegation is good, but Sandy and Lee are useless . Wouldn’t follow them through a car wash (and I’ve spent 30 years military and a cop). We all laugh at them especially Sandy, she would be no higher than a petty officer

She can say, people haters. However, she is a rude, narristic bad manager. She and Malia no doubt manipulated the situation to get Tom in and it back fired. We got to see KARMA for their scamming. Bugs was involved too, she knew what was happening too. Malia didn't report Hannah until Hanna didn't want to share with Bugsy. Malia was getting even with Hannah. No integrity involved with Sandy, Malia or Bugsy. Totally discussed with them !!!!

But it's probably the production company that manipulates everything to make it entertaining for viewers...can you imagine how boring it would be if everyone just went to bed after their shifts? Noone would watch it. They have to make money from these shows otherwise they wouldn't exist. Personally I just zone out watching these; but I know one thing for sure..if I was a member of the crew I'd have someone on shore to have fun with..not bonk on the boat!

Absolutely agree!! And if you have to tell your crew to call you Captain all the time, your either a feminist with a big ego or still trying to prove yourself because you feel insecure in a mainly male dominated industry. Just do your job competently and no favoritism with the crew.

Does the crew get paid beyond the tip? If so does the chef and bosun get paid more than some of the others? How much?

Captain Sandy did what she had to do and that was fire Hanna. There's laws and rules for a reason and Hanna has been doing this job long enough that there was no excuse for not advance reporting her meds to the captain. Malia was completely out of line going into Hanna's bag and should have been in just as much trouble as Hanna. But this is just my opinion.😊

She knew Hannah had it since her panic attack. She only reported it once they had an argument about Tom and her sharing a room. She only plays by the rules when it benefits her. She could’ve just destroyed the pills and vape pen, got rid of it and warned her “ friend “ Hannah.

@@sean13 hannah was the show's original rat. she snitched on little danny to the captain for having pictures of guests on his phone(which is legal, unlike hannah's drugs). ans she said 'payback's a bitch' right before ratting to the captain.

Everyone hates Captain Sandy even Captain Lee doesn’t agree with her. She looks down on the Inside Crew, because she thinks the Deckcrew is above them. She is one of these female leaders that squashes the women below her, specially the ones who don’t do the same as her.

Crashed her cycle because she was drunk AF, season 4 she was using prescription meds which caused her heart attack. I bet you she didn't declare those meds she abused. Im all for ladies being in management roles etc, but don't play BS games and also don't have double standards. Captain Sandy is the worst. Her staff was out of control of her crew. The " chef is nasty and filthy with peoples' food. These vaca trips are far to costly for such shabby-assed service. I've seen many of these episodes, and there is clearly a vast difference in the way staff and captain treats, or caters to white upper crust, and black upper crust. Black wealthy people don't waste your money. Behind the scenes the staff showed no respect for you! They did not deserve any tip for their service And they clearly did not care whether you had a good, or great experie3nce, but as arrogant as they are, the will naturally expect a tip. Tip is Black people, spend your very lucrative dollars elsewhere, full stop!!!!!

Kaite did NOT need to be chief Stew. She let her stewardesses walk all over her ESPECIALLY Lexi. I still like Captain Sandy - do I agree with all of her choices? No. I do respect how she ran her ship though.

@@joshlock4627 also....Katie even admitted in an interview that she herself was SO DRUNK the night of the whole Lexie drama that she couldn't even piece together the events of the night before, thus, not telling Captain Sandy all of the details. Had she tole Sandy all of the deets, I'm sure Sandy would have relieved Lexie from her duty. And what are you referring to when you say "what Sandy did to Katie"? Are you referring to hiring on another set of hands to help pick up the slack that Katie allowed to happen by way of Lexie???

She's literally the only reason im still watching this program. Sandy has already basically taken the words out of my mouth when you are working for me you are going to do it the way i tell you to. Why .????? Useless captain , horrible leader ! Wouldn’t follow her in a kfc drive thru . Avoids making serious decisions Have a look at the “cabin reallocation in S6”. Mahalia us another useless uniform . A snake / narcissistic because she wasn’t bunked with her boyfriend . She calls “red on deck “ whilst standing on the port side bow siding, whilst laughing . Red on deck is serious risk of harm / crew remain interior That is why both are not respected . Sandy is called “Capt Time Share “. She is an empty uniform . Doesn’t fire any woman she is attracted too (Delaney). Sandy always gets others to make decisions

There's away to be a boss and she is a poor example of how to be a boss. Boss syndrome big time. She's not a nice person, by nature. She's not your friend neither.just never cared for her and don't like her. Take a page out of captain Lees book for starters.

She's one of those bosses that make you do dumb things that don't make sense and you just have to take it
