The Untold Truth of Austin Butler

Ойын-сауық

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2022 where it received a twelve-minute standing ovation -the longest at the year’s festival. The 2022 biopic on one of the most prolific singers of all time, aptly dubbed as the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, was the cumulative effort that took eight years for its making.

His singing was perfect. His voice change was perfect. His movements were perfect. His dancing was perfect. His acting... holy god. I never saw it. It was invisible. I just saw Elvis. And I was there in that world with him. What Butler did with this role has made me decide to go back and try the profession myself. That idea of letting go and being someone else is mesmerizing. Thanks buddy. Austin earned the Oscar for this. It's his. He worked very hard and nailed everything. If he doesn't win it, then for god's sake, what would an actor have to do to win it? Don't let that smooth voice and cute -as--button drippin' with sexuality visage confuse you (it's stupefying; I know). This guy is a damned good actor. I can't name one who is better since Sallie Gardner in Eardweard Muybridge's horse flick (look that up).

My impression after seeing the movie "Elvis", Austin Butler put his heart & soul into this role.. it was so close to being Elvis himself (voice, mannerisms, walk, talk, expressions, personality and Elvis's vulnerabilty) that it was amazing. How do I know? I was 10 years old when Elvis was discovered. My teenage brother & I played his first records on the record player. We saw his 1st movie "Love me Tender" and most all of his future movies. We saw him in concert in the 70's. Yes, Butler did an amazing job in his role as Elvis.

The movie was not 90 minutes, it was 2 hours and 40 minutes. Also, what are you talking about - "while videotapes and recordings existed back then, most Elvis Presley memorabilia comes in the form of pictures." On what planet?!!! First of all, "back then" is in the 1950s,1960s, and 70s, hardly the Stone Age. Yes, plenty of film and even TV existed "back then," imagine that. Elvis make 33 movies, two of them concert documentaries, besides all the other concerts that were filmed, and all the interviews too. What are you talking about, mainly pictures? He didn't cause such a scandal and an uproar with his sexy moves in "pictures!" How do you think everyone saw him moving? There's no shortage of film and DVDs and old TV shows and movies of Elvis. How old are you? Movies were not invented last year. The whole world saw Elvis moving and singing, and not in still pictures.

I have a theory about why AB and VH split. For the Elvis role, AB immersed himself into studying Elvis’ everything just for the audition. He had to focus on that one task. He and VH were already having problems integrating their schedules. He needed to make a commitment to this role and he would end up being away for 3-4 years. I really think he saw the Elvis role as a chance to get out of the insipid love interest roles. He could not move his career and life forward without the challenge role on Broadway with Denzel, and Elvis movie. I believe he saw VH as a reminder of the love interest roles that he had to get away from. Plus they were kids most of their relationship, you eventually figure out as you mature what you need to do to reach your goals/dreams. They have both moved on, and clearly it was a good decision. VH is engaged, she’s getting more adult jobs and Austin is on everyone’s radar screens as a rising star and he’s fulfilling his dreams of becoming a fine actor with a diverse résumé. It always hurts to end a relationship, especially one so long, it was time.

Actually, she can't. Because I'm currently working out and losing weight. So that way, I'll look hotter than Kaia and hopefully, get his attention and have him reconsider dating a fan for once. and also, she's not classy at all. And I'm going to keep manifesting him until he wants me.

Vanessa is pretty and talented young woman. It’s sad that Butler her boyfriend for many years left her after he got the roles of Elvis. I can’t believe he did not honor his girlfriend Vanessa knowing she’s the one who encourage him to get the roles instead he dumped her and pick up this woman who is a complete stranger in his life. That really shows that he is a bad man have no class at all. No gratitude to his girlfriend who help him succeed. Terrible ! Who wants this kind of man. He is Zero not a hero.

Ofelia Fischman. Vanessa is far more capable of inflicting pain than Austin will ever be, especially never having taken the time between men to get to know herself AND to clear up some serious issues she sustained from Zac. You really should stay away from making judgements and throwing accusations at people without having a blessed clue as to what actually happened.

Dude, Elvis Presley is the unmatched king of rock and roll and an icon in music and pop culture whose legacy lives on until now and will continue to do so; but Austin Butler is an astonishing and phenomenal actor! He portrayed E.P.'s essence fascinatingly and the way he immersed himself into Elvis's life and career to capture for this role was no less than phenomenal! Elvis has no comparison nor rivalry but that doesn't give anyone the right to shit and bash on this incredible person and actor (who worked himself to being bedridden for this role). They don't need to be compared. They shine alone and together

Let's be very clear. The ovation was for AUSTIN, Baz, and the rest of the cast, crew, and movie!! You are the singular person on the planet who would ever say that Austin's performance was anything less than extraordinary. You're either jealous, blind, or both!!!

@@alexandradiogo786 How stupid do you have to be to say that this guy looks like Elvis???? And in order for this movie to be a hit - he really had to look like Elvis - at least a little bit - moving his legs and feet just did not do it And his personality - big ego - did not do it either - this is not Elvis - it is a joke and a caricature! Millions of dollars spent for nothing - they should have just given the money to the poor!!!!! THey need the money way more than we needed this Elvis movie bummer!
