Grant was one of us from the Star Wars generation, who saw the original trilogy in the theaters, and eventually lived the dream of working at ILM and on the next set of star wars movies. He didn't just PLAY with star wars toys, he MADE star wars toys. When they did the walk through of his storage, it felt like he was following with them, just off camera. We had a lot of deaths from 2020 on, but his and Chadwick Bosmen hurt the most.

@@NOway264 Dude, back in the day, if you could move under your own power, you GOT yourself to the theater and watched Star Wars. 7 is like the BEST age range to see the movie, and this was in an era where parents didn't need to know where we were at any point in time, so going to matinees with friends... if you had the cash, was a THING. It also became a THING of, who saw the movie the most times in the theater. It became a contest.

i met him at Wondercon in Anaheim back in 2014. i was just walking through the main hall, when i saw a small group in a corner wearing battlestar galactica (Ron Moore version) regalia. and among them was Grant. i just had to have a picture with the guy. told him i was an engineer too. i wish i had all the time in the world to talk to the guy. but that would have been just impossible. it’s just nice to know that your idol is also very much a geeky nerd much like yourself.

As I have heard it expressed, Jamie and Adam had a good working relationship because they each contributed talents and abilities the other didn't possess as strongly and between the two of them, that made an excellent professional combination, but outside of work, they really had no desire to spend time with each other because they were just two different people. They still regularly see each other at joint personal appearances and, afaik, can still shake hands and sit down to dinner, but since the show, they have each taken their own paths.

Believe it or not, people have died of aneurysms long before the pandemic. Those located in the brain are quite difficult to diagnose ahead of time, especially in young and otherwise healthy people. The reason is that often, the first symptom is the rupture of the blood vessel. So young and healthy people are usually completely unaware they even had them.
