    @Wings_of_foam it’s overused because it’s subjective. Lebron is a legend to some and not to others. Just like hero. Your dad can be a hero in your eyes but a piece of shit to others. It’s all subjective. So yeah I’d say he’s a legend in my book just like Jamie and Adam.

    @@Wings_of_foam Ever heard of Tony Robles? That guy is a living legend. But if you aren't into the pool(as in pool table) scene you've probably never heard of him. How about Ma Long? Say that name almost anywhere and you'll get nothing. Say it among table tennis aficionados and count how many people say he is a legend. Just because the common person doesn't know about them doesn't make them any less of a legend in their fields.

    How is Savage’s sister sue for something that happened when he was twelve a minor.

  • @stanjuan1178

    @stanjuan1178

    3 жыл бұрын

    Here is my personal issue with the lawsuit. First, I'm not arguing for or against Adam. I dont know if the allegation is true or false. Outside of the immediate family (and even then with caveats), nobody on the planet knows the truth. And thars the main point for me. There are of course plenty of credible and reasonable arguments that could be made in Adam's favor while there are really no such arguments to be made on his sister's behalf that dont rely solely on her own words. And that's saying a lot in and of itself. But the question of proof is the biggest problem for me. Let's assume for a fraction of a second that the accusation is true. How on earth, short of Adam making a full confession, would you prove this in a court of law? The only "evidence" of the crime is his sister's claim. But in terms of proof, there literally is none. While i rarely speak in absolutes, I'm willing to say there is a 99.9 repeating %chance that the lawsuit fails. Given that, what if his sister is lying about the claim? The story is already all over the tabloids. Effectively the damage to Adam has already been done. This is a totally fucked up situation. My heart goes out to Adam. We could talk for ages about the many facets of this claim, but I cant help but wonder where a 9 year old boy would get the level of sophistication required to even understand what sex is, let alone obtain the drive and motivation to perform advanced sexual acts in repeated rapes while and I quote, calling himself the "rape blob". Where on earth did young Adam Savage learn about this stuff at age 9? Where on earth did a 9 year old get the motivation from to do such forced acts of rape on his sister? Does this seem like plausible 9 year old behavior? Does the man Adam who has lived his very public life seem like the kind of person who would be capable of such things at the age of 9? I find the accusation to be highly dubious on the grounds that children of the age of 9 simply lack the sophistication needed to do what's being accused here. While I wouldn't say such a thing could never happen, such events must be exceedingly rare. And then one must ask, does the life Adam has lead, lend itself to believing Adam was one of these rare exceptions? This is an extraordinary claim, and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. And as I said to start, I would be flabbergasted if there was more than his sister's word and or maybe the word of a handful of people willing to bare witness to her story in the form of " yes shes been telling this story since she was 20". There are far simpler and more plausible explanations. Given the timeline, it's far more likely that this is all about money. If Adam was homeless and living on the streets, do you think we would be having this exchange of comments? Unlikely.

    @@stanjuan1178 yeah, its really hard to understand how he got his hands on such information considering the following information: Adam Savage was born in 1967, meaning that by the time he was 9, it was 1976. The Internet, which is the most plausible way in which he could access the information, was developed in the late 1960s, with ARPANET adopting TCP/IP on January 1st, 1980, with ARPANET being a privatised version of the Internet. Basically, the only way in which he couldve been exposed to such content in order to make him perform the alleged acts would be 1) a really shitty porno store/adult store exposed him to it, which is unlikely, or 2) he lived in a bad household, which, based on his mother and their relationship, is also unlikely.

    If you just simply watched one freaking episode you would know how to pronounce their names. It's really basic and takes like 1 minute because it's in the beginning role of every episode in season 3 and on. Like wow this is some shotty work you did here. Wish this video was better because the MythBusters DO deserve better recognition than what we got in this video. Shameful honestly.

    😳😳😳😳😳!!!!!!!!! I’m blown away by those allegations against Adam!!! My first thought, before hearing about his mother’s and other family member’s support, was “Oh no!! Not again! First Cosby and now Adam Savage is added to “now it’s a list” of people I admired that are mired by those type of accusations and guilt in cosby’s case! I don’t care about all the other a hole, from Jared to Weinstein and the rest in between. So very sad about Grant and Jessi. So much tragedy for this awesome program

    I was always under the assumption that you would need to survive/complete successfully whatever record it is your trying to break without dying or what-not..As I do understand how tragic Jesse's death was iand have sympathy for the whole situation i still cannot understand how her 2nd run was successful thus breaking the record..in my opinion this causes the next challengers to push it even harder to take the record........its like me holding my breath but die there while doing so and being rewarded a record for man who held breath the longest whilst there's my corpse STILL sitting there holding my breath adding to the record...causing a record so dangerous that every person trying to break it will most certainly die trying...the USA has been on the decline and it's these type of things that end every tradition, competition and world records from allowing men to compete as women and as in this case awarding records to dead people......
