The absolute number one reason I never let my cats outside is because of bored teenagers. I can’t imagine my sweet, loving, happy cats going through that. It would haunt me for the rest of my life. There are diseases, traffic, dogs, wildlife, and dozens of other reasons, but bored, evil teenagers tops all them. There is not one good reason to let a cat outside.

My spouse and I have four cats, all indoor only for these reasons as well. Sometimes we put a harness on our one cat who likes to walk on a harness and leash. We're hoping to one day turn our patio into an enclosed catio so the cats can enjoy outside in a safe environment.
@underwearmaintenance
Жыл бұрын
@@amberscoutstarwatcher I’d love to do that!! I live in an apartment on a busy 4 lane, but I really hope someday they can have a catio! My late boyfriend, he was a widower. His late wife had a cat, I took her when he passed, but he was deathly allergic and had to get custom allergy shots once a week, not covered by insurance, just so she and the cat could be happy. She was a big cat and she didn’t fit in the windowsills very well. On every window in the house, he built 16” wide windowsills, just so the cat could lie in the windows. That has to be one of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard. Because I do rescue, we couldn’t live together. So I’d spend 3.5 days with him, and 3.5 days with my cats. (Their Dad would stay with them when I wasn’t home. I had better AC and better TV anyway. Lol.) After our divorce, I rented an apartment in the same building so that we could still foster and still co-parent the cats. I worked a lot and they got lonely. They loved having Daddy visit. They were never alone. I’m way off subject! Lol. Oh, I’d love to have a catio. I have a friend with one and they gave me two warnings. 1) use metal wire for the screen. They will rip right through the fabric screens. and 2) Bugs. Make sure you use flea and tick treatment and make sure to get a pet safe exterminator out a few times a summer. Those critters can get them just as sick as outdoor cats. (I use Cheristin for my cats. I get it from my vet and it’s the best spot-on treatment I’ve ever used. None have had a single reaction to it. Whew! It’s not even expensive and it lasts three months.) Good luck with your catio! ❤️😻

It almost sounds like Bathsheba reached out to the family when they adopted the dog. Bathsheba planted her own name into their minds and in doing so, the family unknowingly invoked her spirit in with the family pups. When the pup died, the spirit of Bathsheba was freed to torment them in the original town, and then lead them back to the Arnold estate to further feed off of.

I said it after another video I just watched from yours, you did a great job. You seriously do an amazing job narrating these cases, and go into the backstories/histories very well of these places. I am interested in this kind of stuff and I’m glad I came across your content 👍🏻.

Ive had enough experiences to last me a lifetime. I wouldn't pay a nickel to step into the conjuring house. They would have to pay me and it wouldn't be cheap either. For some reason, I do like this channel though thanks for such a great channel! BTW, a former priest of mine, who was asked by the Archdiocese of Atlanta to be an exorcist, would have said that wasn't the spirit of a woman, rather that was a demon plain and simple. Ghosts can't cause that kind of havoc. Ghosts are usually souls in purgatory, but demons certainly can and do cause a lot of problems.

I believe very strongly they are all very true. Paranormal is all around. Thanks for bringing these real events to is. Cheers, mate. Have you seen the Paranormal Scholar's videos with that English lady? Good stories, too.

Hey Kody! Glad to be watching your content again, man. In the midst of watching this one and...excellent job as usual, man. In my humble you're one of the better narrator's going. Your cadence is nice and measured, your pitch has a pleasing register and you research these topics exhaustively. Well done, friend. Get a chance to take a gander at Kent's channel yet (Carmel Maine)? Even if you didn't do anything on the Lamb house, I was just curious what you thought about his evidence compared to some of the other houses you've researched. Anyway...take care buddy. The wait on this one was worth it!

I've seen some of his content. What are your thoughts on Kent's haunting? Do YOU think it's legit?
@jerm2011
Жыл бұрын
@@A.Girl.Has.No.Name. 100% legit. I lived in a very active house for years (my paternal grandmother's house) and have 11 years experience on top of that as an investigator/ITC communicator. I know what I'm looking at and the Lamb House and Kent are the real deal. Furthermore, I think that about 88% of the paranormal videos you see people capture on their personal CCTV, nanny cams and doorbell cameras, as well as the larger portion of what you see from amateur investigators is real as well. You see so many people in the comments of these videos claiming that they're hoaxes and that the activity is being accomplished by fishing line and computer trickery. While it's good to filter your evidence through a mildly skeptical filter so that it stays above reproach, there's really no need for that extreme level of skepticism simply because there's not that large of a need to hoax these things. With every passing year, paranormal activity around the world is ramping up and we're catching more and more of it because we have cameras everywhere now. I've seen things in my life that, had I not seen it with my own eyes, I would have thought it impossible. I have no need to lie. I stand to gain nothing. Spirit is very real. We are eternal beings.
@A.Girl.Has.No.Name.
Жыл бұрын
@@jerm2011 I totally agree about the CCTV, ring cams, etc. Unexplainable things have been captured on them for a long time. As for us being "eternal beings" even science agrees with that, as we are energy, and energy cannot be destroyed, it simply changes form. I haven't seen enough of Kent's videos to form a personal opinion yet, as I've only seen bits and pieces that were picked apart by folks on other channels. (as people do) Like the one with the shadow figure in the upstairs window. I'm just leery of all the ARG/"hoax" accounts such as "Dear David," and others like it. While it's a lot easier to fake paranormal videos these days, at least it's easier to debunk them, too! I've never had a paranormal experience myself (& if Im honest, I'm not sure I want to) but I believe such things DO exist, even if myself nor anyone else can explain it fully, or even with any degree of certainty. Thanks for answering my question. It's much appreciated! 😊

@@A.Girl.Has.No.Name. You are quite welcome and I appreciate the respect with which you framed your response despite never having a paranormal experience yourself. And on that topic...I would actually say that you should be glad of that, despite the many positive paranormal experiences I've had. The negative ones tend to be traumatically life changing. You show a high level of wisdom in not trying to fast track an experience for yourself that could end badly. Take care.
@A.Girl.Has.No.Name.

@@jerm2011 I've actually thought about what a paranormal experience would do to me, mentally and emotionally. In our everyday lives, we feel a sense of security, (though generally on a subconscious level) whether it be from the people we surround ourselves with, the things we achieve, or the walls of our homes that protect us. The traditional ghost being "known" (with as much certainty as we have about such entities) to have no boundaries that could keep them at bay, (walls, doors, verbally begging them to GO AWAY! etc.) experiencing something paranormal would likely shatter all sense of security that I possess, which isn't something I'm particularly eager to have happen. (like most folks, I don't like change!) I have a propensity towards anxiety and worry, so I can say with confidence, that every little noise, fleeting shadow, (or basically everything my cat does) would glue me to the ceiling after a couple of days, if I were to see an apparition, or any other paranormal entity. I think I'll stick to WATCHING paranormal investigations, and appreciating the work of others like you, instead!
So very well told. Your voice had me hanging on every word. Love from the uk

Hmmmn, me thinks the family brought spirits of their own to the already haunted Arnold Estate. If Andrea just happened to name her dog Bathsheba, whilst they were living in their prior home (before the estate), something was already afoot. It's heartbreaking what this family went through. 😔 😔

Great video. I learned a lot more about this story. I can’t help but wonder if the family or the Warrens thought to contact a Catholic priest to try to do an exorcism on the property and the woman who was possessed. I believe in the power of The Lord.

I bought a small house that my aunt and uncle built. It was next to a small VERY old cemetery out in the country. I didn't have problems at first. But weird things began to happen. My dimmer light in the dining room would be turned up and down. The couch I was sitting on would violently shake, it felt like an earthquake and would randomly do that with nobody else in the house feeling it. My cats would walk into the living room and stare at the same corner and growl and slowly back out of the room. And the giggling, like a child would. I was horribly depressed and when I moved, I didn't feel that way anymore. Lots of other things, but I felt renewed immediately after moving. I guess some places just have bad things attached to it.

As always well written and presented. I've read articles on the Warren's, a loyal say they were conartists, so I don't know how I feel about their involvement. That being said...the house has a rich history so it's very credible.

If I remember correctly the family, especially the dad, didn't appreciate the Warrens. I thought their involvement ended when the dad punched Mr Warren then kicked them out. I'll have to watch some interviews with Andrea again to see if I'm remembering this correctly. Andrea did state that she believed Lorraine Warren had a gift, but wouldn't admit when they were in over their heads. She was also disappointed in how the Warrens portrayed the extent of their involvement, when it sounded like the little there was only made things worse.

Makes sense the new family is not experiencing the level of activity the previous was. If they aren't afraid it can't feed on their fear and escalate.
