The Untold Story Behind Jean-Claude Biver's New Brand

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

We had the amazing opportunity to interview Jean-Claude Biver and ask him about his new watch brand and his hopes for the future.
Mr Biver shared about the philosophy behind his new watch and what he would like to achieve in the next 20 years. He touched on his connection with Norqain, his passion for cheese and his thoughts on mechanical watches versus quartz watches.
His new watch is an example of haute horlogerie - a carillon repeater, which sounds like a peal of church bells on your wrist thanks to its three hammers, as well as a tourbillon and a micro-rotor for automatic winding; unusual in a watch like this. Stay tuned for our watch review coming soon!

A terrific interview Anthony. Jean-Claudes' passion is infectious. There are many who could benefit from his view. If you have a passion, follow it and it will keep you going and do so much more. I love the way he wants to give back as well to keep the mechanical wheels of time turning even though he appreciates the benefits of a modern 'wrist computer'.

It got a bit much for me, when they started calling watchmaking a religion. I love watches, but the circle jerk becomes a bit much sometimes

JCB is becoming unbearable to listen too. He is always busy selling his technically marvellous, yet, highly overpriced useless junk, to any and everyone, even if they can't afford the box his company's watches ship in. That's not passion. That's stupidity.
