The Untold Story Behind Jean-Claude Biver's New Brand
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We had the amazing opportunity to interview Jean-Claude Biver and ask him about his new watch brand and his hopes for the future.
Mr Biver shared about the philosophy behind his new watch and what he would like to achieve in the next 20 years. He touched on his connection with Norqain, his passion for cheese and his thoughts on mechanical watches versus quartz watches.
His new watch is an example of haute horlogerie - a carillon repeater, which sounds like a peal of church bells on your wrist thanks to its three hammers, as well as a tourbillon and a micro-rotor for automatic winding; unusual in a watch like this. Stay tuned for our watch review coming soon!

Props to the tailors of both shirts - those buttons are the real MVPs.

Perfect is boring - life is too good...
A terrific interview Anthony. Jean-Claudes' passion is infectious. There are many who could benefit from his view. If you have a passion, follow it and it will keep you going and do so much more. I love the way he wants to give back as well to keep the mechanical wheels of time turning even though he appreciates the benefits of a modern 'wrist computer'.
Great interview. Good scoop. This guy is amazing. 75 and planning to work till he is 95.
A beautiful display of the best of what we can achieve as people. Passion and discipline manifested in a timeless work
a great interview with a very unique person ❤
I can’t forget he was behind Hublot
Sensational piece.
brilliant video, excellent interview. JCB send the cheese 🧀.... Yes a watch is eternity on the wrist.
Toujours aussi excellent ce Jean-Claude Biver et je partage totalement sa philosophie de vie « Une vie sans passion ne vaut pas la peine d’être vécue »
I really respect and love this man.. he is incredible and inspirational
8:12 Is the watchmaker/technician here wearing a smart watch?
I really love this man’s passion that is why he is one of the greats. Unwavering passion. Please Watchgeko pls request for affordable watches that might not be too low but attainable for the one who wishes to get one
How many years in normal wages to buy it
JCB is the man. History has a page for that man when it’s all written and done. Hope he does a base model that mere mortal men can afford.
I'm pretty sure Biver is the long lost brother of Erich Von Däniken.
The person who bought the prototype was Joe the plumber.
It got a bit much for me, when they started calling watchmaking a religion. I love watches, but the circle jerk becomes a bit much sometimes
He is such an incredible story teller, but the watch obviously looks like a seiko presage
fantastic video and chat! but just my thoughts. this watch looks bang average! or is that just me?
Puff piece. 😢
jajajaj las barrigas
Watches look rather vulgar and JCB gets louder each time he launches a brand new
JCB is becoming unbearable to listen too. He is always busy selling his technically marvellous, yet, highly overpriced useless junk, to any and everyone, even if they can't afford the box his company's watches ship in. That's not passion. That's stupidity.
This watch is such a failure.....looks a like a $300 watch with a fake tourbillion
Jean Claude Biver a hardworking and driven man. One of the few GOATs in the watchmaking industry. 🫡
