Jean-Claude Biver talks about love at EU Business School Barcelona

The term CEO brings to mind images of numbers and seriousness. But the key point of Jean Claude Biver's talk on January 17th at Foment de les Arts i del Disseny (FAD) for EU Business School was an unexpected topic: love. ►Subscribe: bit.ly/2IQpTyv
The event was part of a series of seminars for the Design Management degree offered by EU Business School.

This guy is truly inspirational. Like me he's from Luxembourg, which hardly anybody knows over here... Discreet, visionary and hugely succesful! My new idol, and up there with the other Great Richard Branson.

Audemars Piguet was associated with football stars, and rappers like Jay Z much before Hublot did. So no "first different unique" there. Perhaps the biggest drawback of the brand Hublot was that they copied Audemars Piguet bezel design in the 70's. It was all over. Jean-Claude Biver is an amazing guy, but I don't think the brand Hublot was EVER "first, different or unique". Mr Biver should join Jaeger LeCoultre now, and enrich it. He's a true inspiration and a legend in Horology.

It's true, the AP Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus, and Hublot were all inspired by the shape of a ship's porthole (the Royal Oak being the first released of course). I cannot claim Hublot was the first house to accomplish any particular feat (aside from creating a scratch resistant gold alloy) though it is my observation Hublot's use of exotic materials in their Big Bang line has heavily influenced other horology houses to do the same.

Well you're full of BS! Then give the world some goddamned watch movement parts to folks that ask for them to restore their watches on demand. There's no excuse that Rolex and Omega et al refuse to keep making parts for watches that need them!
