The Unstoppable Honda XR650L Dual Sport Motorcycle

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I pieced together some video clips of my Honda XR650L motorcycle rides that show what the Honda dual sport can truly do. If you are on the fence about buying this dual sport motorcycle, maybe this video will help you make your decision.

I'm going to get me one of these to commute to work because the roads are always in terrible condition where I live. Look at the way that XR650L handles that mess eat' em and smile right on through and it keeps chugging on. It's a legendary bike now I see why Honda didn't change a thing about it. You don't fix what isn't broke!

Best motorcycle I have ever had. It is even great for the road with the offload tires. I had it up to 95 mph and it had some more to go. It eats through anything you will throw at it. You will love it. Thank you for watching.

@@chrisiollich4890 Good to hear. That's cool having race tires too, I didn't think of that. I wanted to hear what riders in the area have to say because around here there are some GNARLY dirt trials with steep elevation changes. The youtube reviews are good on this bike but I see a lot of riding on flat trails with it.

Brother that was an enjoyable video to watch. Great camera angle and excellent video quality. I actually felt like I was riding it myself. Good to see the capability of the bike. I'm a novice trail Rider and looking for my first dual sport. I chuckled a bit when you were crossing that little bridge and looked left to right. I was thinking what could possibly be coming his way? In that little creek? Then my senses hit me and I think you were enjoying the scenery haha. Keep up the good work

I tried to catch it on video the best that I could. The best part of trail riding is the amazing views and peacefulness. That is what got me riding. I truly love nature.

Nice video, I kept thinking to myself that some of these trails seem familiar then I realized you were also from the NEPA “Valley” area. I always loved air-cooled Hondas, how hard is it wrestling the big Honda around off-road? They are Heavy for a dirt bike but light for an Adventure bike so you hear mixed things.

The Honda is great off-road. You don't notice the weight unless you try jumping it. Not a jumping bike but an absolute tank on the trails that will take you anywhere you want to go. I mean that in a very good way. You need to be tall to ride it though. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 6 feet tall. It is also amazing on the road. It doesn't get shaky until you go over 80mph. Very stable.

Very versatile under the music U can hear how low RPM that bike is running and still pulls right off the bottom and will go 90mph on or off road.My XR had 50,000 miles on it before it broke a timing chain rail. And the top end rebuild ,is here!!!! Honda XR650L is a crappy motorcycle over the long haul due to lousy electrical wiring.Endless electrical gremlins. If you enjoy buying a shop queen, have at it. My own 2000year 650L ran flawless for 15k miles, then----problems. cdi units burn out regularly. Rectifiers, Stators, etc feel neglected, so they give up the ghost as well. Yes, you've got to cut off the kickstand switch and many others "electrical customizations." Bike sucks. Buy something better. You've been warned. Honda should be ashamed for shoddy manufacture.

Only thing changed were oil, brakes, tires, and chains. They are literally one of the most reliable bikes on the market and super easy to work on.
