I’m PRAYING that they will release more unreleased scenes in the future!! Imagine if they came out with a whole movie dedicated to all the unreleased film? I would die lol

Imagine being able to, as a child, be around such great talents as Richard Harris, one of the original hellraisers, Alan Rickman, Richard Griffiths, Dame Maggie Smith, and later, Michael Gannon, Bill Nighy, and Gary Oldman. Must have been unbelievable.

I know. Daniel Radcliffe was such a big fan of Gary Oldman before even working with him on Harry Potter. He's said that having him around made him a better actor.

It always guts me whenever I remember how much is unreleased. A lot of them are actually the result of reshoots. POA: The trio arguing by the stone circle was replaced with the courtyard scene in the movie (they would've done their location shooting first, so only had the sets in the studio to film in). Probably reshot because their argument in the script is more harsh than petty. The ending of films 4 and 5 had scenes reshot. So the waterfall scene was replaced with the courtyard scene. The Priori Incantatem explanation scene (which looks like it may have had Rita Skeeter barging in from one photo I've seen) was replaced with Dumbledore's common room visit. I'm guessing Goblet had its ending revised to be less of a downer. And the death room duel in Phoenix was also heavily reshot (not sure why).

The ending of the film 4 bugs me. I know they wanted it to be less of a downer, but Harry cracking jokes so soon after Cedric's death and memorial comes out of nowhere. In the book it took him weeks to even smile after what happened.

You know I would give anything to see more scenes of Cho Chang that was removed from the film.

I can't necessarily say for sure if they would be good to stay in, as I haven't seen them. A few I would say yes to, like Draco throwing his wand to Harry, for example.

No problem! There are even more that have been reported and rumored if you look online. I also highly recommend reading the screenplays to the films, as it details some scenes that weren’t included and how they played out.

I’m just looking for the deleted scene where they round up the ghosts after Sirius gets in the castle because cuthbert binns was ment to be in that scene and I wanna see who played him and what it would have been like in the movie

Are you talking about the one in Philosopher’s Stone that was released in the extended edition, or the one shown here in Order of the Phoenix? The one from the fifth film was in the trailer, and the only new thing to be found was a shot of Harry laughing at Snape hitting Ron with a book.

Thought with the 20 years of Harry Potter event they would've released some of these scenes. Sadly I didn't happen. We need to see Rik as Peeves! Footage must still exist, surely.

Mainly due to creative reasons, time, pacing, etc. That's usually why scenes are removed during the editing phase of any film.
