It all has to do with the way a social construct is designed and what part of the mind it is created around. In this case westernized society is designed around the Amygdala, a part of the brain that is unstable and corrupt. The part of the brain ancient people suppressed because they knew what kind of harm would come about thinking exclusively from that part of the mind which this society was created around. Story telling also derives from that part of the mind ie the news stories that are broadcasted on the news, gossip, inuendo etc. Every aspect of this society from religion to politcs etc is based on a character and storyline that is used to manipulate our perceptions emotions motivations and actions trapping us within the prison of the Amygdala.

I can only comment on the colors stuff and tell you this much: they vary depending on who you ask. I am having discussions with my wife in regards to the colors of cars, houses, clothes etc. all the time and I am starting to think, that either her or my perception of colors is different. I'd say I am a bit ignorant in regards to colors, but I worked in design a bit and I definitely know some of them, even the PANTONE ones. It's usually green vs blue, red vs pink, yellow vs orange or brown. So different people perceive colors differently.

If you put a sharp shinning knife/sword under a microscope you´d appreciate it´s curvatures and flaws, but if you look at it with the naked eye, as much close as you can get to it, you´d still see it sharp and nice.

Yeah I kind of think so too. Our "souls" in some parallel space is what we really are. We are there now. Our brains have some opened connection with our entity there. And our "physical world" is just some kind of digital matrix here. What DMT is doing - it is the Key that blocks this transition of signal (from entity to body in matrix here) When we take dmt - we lose control with the body and see the Reality that is somehow more real than our "physical" world. Same with the sleep, same with death of the body - in both cases we know there is DMT is released from the pineal gland to the brain and we are disconnected from matrix. How our "physical matrix" works? - Quantum field theory is just about that. Fantastic video. Very thought provoking!

Following a mental breakdown, I certainly realized how mood can colour perception, also how just thinking can make you physically ill. It's only following a breakdown, that I begun to appreciate the wisdom of all those seemingly hollow cliches about 'looking on the bright-side' or 'giving your brain a rest;. Which makes me think at some instinctive level we all understand consciousness, it just doesn't pay to think about too much. Most of the time we're on auto-pilot and for good reason. Maybe it helps to think outside the box sometimes, but not always. See endless metaphors are the only way to describe consciousness. Consciousness as experienced by humans, is one long process of abstractions

Wow this podcast hits home for me because theres a few questions I've always wondered as a kid and even more questions now as a adult like the inside of a conscious mind, "what makes you, you?" I honestly do feel like in a sense somehow we are all connected In some shape of form. It's almost like the cosmos sent me here to watch this & also, Space is endless period. Anything else is an explanation using words, languages and thoughts...that unfold in time. There is only now. The past is a memory and the future is imaginary...and both past and future can only be known right now

The fact that people decide what we are allowed to know, irritates me.

What if our consciousness is part of a greater collective manifestation that is reality, and our brains / bodies are merely transceivers / receivers only attuned to this realities bandwidths, however at times the frequencies change and we observe disruptions which is what could be regarded as Deja Vu.. I’ve always pondered this reality as there’s so many unexplainable phenomenon that tells me we have no real grasp of what we consider reality, we don’t know all the rules of the game we’re in..

Absolutely marvelous video.

This goes back to where this is a simulation for each and every individual for the purpose of acting out a predisposed life, chosen by us, to learn from experience what it is to be in "someone else's shoes" per say. We all eventually go back to our point of origin, common to everybody (to where there is no body, jaja). And even tough it seems that we share a reality, which it is very plausible for limited sharing, each reality is custom made for every one of us or maybe a group, which could be a limited number and not in the billions as were are led to believe by our current reality, maintaining this current illusion of a material reality. “We’re not seeing reality, we’re seeing a story that’s created for us” is a very accurate statement.

That’s what someone on acid would say, and I’ve done it. That wouldn’t explain why there are unexplainable “coincidences” in life that can literally ONLY be explained by either A) this really is a simulation, or B) God exists. God is the answer. I just “happened” to name my first dog Mickey 1 year before making it into Disney as Mickey Mouse officially? Yeah, okay. We’re not all the same consciousness. I've been saying this for years, to all the ppl in my past that called me crazy for telling them this. Told you so. It's OK though we all wake up eventually and those who don't well you relive the experience until you figure it out. I DO belive we are in a simulation. Not everyone is real, those of us who are "real" are essentially playing a video game. And our immortal spiritual self is living a human experience. And will continue to live different experiences because we can. Look at it as swapping out one video game for another.

Fractions of a microsecond. I can only conclude I'm gone. But the truth remains, that something seems to be happening. Whether the past is a complete fabrication, whether the present or future bear thinking about.

It's very true. Each reality is owned by each observation and stops when the observer dies.

At the end of the day. You truly realize the answer. the answer of not knowing, this answer that we want will not benefit us. The only thing we get is the satisfaction of the curiosity gone. No one truly wants to know about the universe. Life would truly feel meaningless. There are some questions in life that don’t need to be answered.

This would actually make a lot of sense. As the universe is expanding and everything is retracting away from everything at the same rate, the implications of this are that our plane of existence is flat and we live on the surface of some sort of shape, maybe like a sphere or a donut. Back during every technological revolution, theories popped up surrounding unrelated fields. When the steam engine was big, theories of pressure became very prominent in medicine and philosophy. The computer age has seen a similar effect with the datatization of various theories. When the next big invention happens, I have a feeling that this theory will change to match the new paradigm.

This is one of the best videos on this topic. It covers much, great summarization, and presentation easy to understand and Intellectually stimulating! I watch that black dot, and the spinning up n down object and see the diagonal movement and I just have to know. Why can't we process that right? @@specilegg Actually, the Universe holds so much energy that it should tear itself apart and scientists don't know why it doesn't. The Bible tells us because Jesus Keeps it so, but nothing tells us about 'how this works', that at least in part, is the fun scientific part.

If this reality isn’t real- then why would an unreal you, meditating about an unreal reality, take anything you perceive seriously including “a message that came through more clearly than all others”? This reality is definitely real and the only reason a message to the contrary came through more clearly than all others is because that’s what you primed your mind to receive. For some reason or another you’re cognitively biased for reality not to be real. I’m not going to speculate why, I don’t know you and I’m not a psychologist. But I’m sure you could find reasons on your own why.

I think language gets short to manage this matter and I would start by pointing out that there is a big difference between THAT WHAT IT IS in Existence and REALITY….then we all should refer to IT as EXISTENCE not as REALITY..to start any topic about it. Additionally AWARENESS is meant many times when we mention the word Consciousness. Consciousness is like a Field ….that No One possesses, but only Sentients and Living Beings may infer or assimilate as MEANING, while Things can only process as DATA

we are the universe experience itself ,reality is merely an illusion, consciousness is fundamental, we actually live in our minds.,but great video very informative.

I feel that there is no meaning of life, but there is a reason to live. We live to experience things when we have the chance to, and when our time is up. who knows what happens next, I've heard so many different people tell me what happens, from we become nothing, to heaven and hell. just believe what you believe!

From various schools of philosophy in bygone era, we've known that, observer is still there in our sushupti(when all thoughts ceases) state of mind, and that can only be known, not experienced or observed.

@@clarthedog yes, but since the mind is so calm there is nothing left to experience, only experiencer is left, beyond this state is called, turiya, or fourth state where even experiencer is not there, I.e, experiencer, experience and experienced become one.

He said plants don’t have consciousness, but I DISAGREE. When I pull out the lawn mower and start it up, the dandelions all LAY DOWN so they don’t get cut by the mower blades. I know it has to do with VIBRATION from the mower, but still. If it lays down to PROTECT itself, then it MUST have some SENTIENCE to it because it doesn’t want to DIE, right?

Yeah I don’t think it’s crazy to think that everything is conscious in its own way because who is to say what isn’t conscious. Where is the line drawn from consciousness and unconscious. Consciousness is a spectrum.

It feels like we’re all about to come to this insane realization, like the climax in a movie. So many things are happening every day that make me feel like this point in time is very special.

16:20 I think there is an obvious correlation between consciousness and our abbility to mediate our surroundings and to conceptualize the abstract. These abbilities give us a *very* big advantage on development and evolution in comparsion with other living organisms, we are (as far as we know) the only species who can create and atribute complex systems of meaning. That's why tools are a big part of our history - wether consciousness is "physical" to our brain or exterior to it, its applications are exterior. A big showcase of all of this is simply our language, we literally experience the world with language and we store complex abstractions in words or signs. I don't think this (language to this extent) is possible without consciousness
