people move on! it’s your choice if you want to support or not support, but dwelling on a situation brings you no happiness (i know this from personal experience)

I feel like they could still have an extravagant wedding but with limited people, so Shane doesn’t get overwhelmed and Ryland still gets all the beautiful wedding stuff, and could even vlog organising/decorating/cake tasting/outfits etc. At the end of the day you only need the most important people in your life there, even if it’s just family.

Full disclosure: When we eloped, the pressure came completely off. We had ceremonies (yes plural) for both sides of the family. My only regrets are stressing out over it so damn much and worrying about what anyone else thought in the first place.

i mean, i'll take what i can get but it's truly so *nice* to get the most real version of shane (w/out all the forced, pre-laughter snorkels, endless distractions, constant goofiness any time anything remotely intimate, emotional or real comes up) even if it only happens for about 4 or 5 mins out of 46.

I think as long as Shane and Ryland have a small wedding with people who truly love and care for them, with all the foods and drinks and desserts they love… it’ll be more meaningful than a big wedding. Ryland can buy a dress he loves, and Shane can wear all black at least, something comfortable, I think it’ll be great
