The Unfortunate Video: Microsoft Story Remix remixes its own review

Just for fun, I dumped in all the raw clips from my review of Windows 10's Photos/Story Remix app (as seen here on my main channel: • Can Microsoft Photos/S... ) and let Story Remix remix its own review. After crashing twice, this is what it created for me all by itself, with no human intervention.

I'm actually curious, what would MPEG x 9 aspect ratio look like? Something like a 30-line program?

The story you're about to hear is a fib, but it's short.
"Choosing clips like that done!" Now THAT is funny.
No, you're doing it wrong. Microsoft just wanted videos of your kids prancing around, your dog taking a bath, the endless scenery from your boring vacation, you and your friends getting drunk, and so forth. It's NOT for any kind of professional or advanced usage!
Microsoft wants you to know how good Movie Maker really was.
So it turns out Story Remix _can_ replace Windows Movie Maker, if all you need to do is make late 2000s-style KZread poops! And it's automated, too!

Super-esthetic, super-meaningless. Very modern, that is to say.
It reminds me of a Talking Heads video I saw in the mid 1980's. "video.........." It was called Once in a Lifetime and it was produced by Bill Film for Channel 4 TV in the UK. I still have it on VHS.

Chopped up the music however isnt bad. Just drowns out everything else. I like windows movie maker. Windows 7 I never used for my KZread videos. Mostly mine come straight off phone.

Thouth I’m moved to the world of iMac and MacBook Pro these days back in the day I used Windows for many years and the classic movie maker was such fun software to use! Sure it didn’t do everything but it did enough and I remember how much I loved the built in effects and so on. These days this remix rubbish is a kick in the teeth to anyone that remembers the old software! Have no clue why Microsoft even bothered doing this crap, might as well just left the old version on there own site to download like these used too. Now anyone wanting the old version has to go over tons of websites on google all saying it’s the classic software when it’s completely different software people want you to try and buy! Legit no reason why Microsoft did this! 😡

You mean in general? Yes, there are several lossless video formats, such as HuffyUV, Lagarith, etc. And Apple's ProRes is "almost" lossless.

ProRes is an "intermediate" codec. Its not compressed a ton and suitable for editing clips without filling up your hard drive with higher quality original footage.
