The Unforeseen Redemption of Logan Paul's Reputation

Ойын-сауық

At one point in time, it was almost impossible to visit KZread without seeing a video along the lines of "The End of Logan Paul's Career". He acted without thinking, he had no respect for anyone, his attitude towards the world was reprehensible to say the least, and as a result, his reputation was in absolute tatters. However, in mid 2018, Logan Paul's reputation would begin to repair itself, and many of the people who were once considered Logan Paul's biggest haters, became Logan Paul's biggest fans. How could a transition like this possible occur? This video will cover the descent from being respected in the beginning, to completely hated by the world, then back to respected in recent times.
This is, The Unforeseen Redemption of Logan Paul's Reputation.
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, Sunny XO ❤

what logan did in the suicide forest will never be forgotten and it will always be a blight on his character and his career, but what he accomplished afterwards is something that very, very few have done on something so unforgiving as the internet. i’m super impressed he had the maturity to not only say that he had learned, but SHOW. he hardly even addressed the forest, but kept moving forward. i feel that showed that he genuinely wanted to get better, not keep a superficial attitude trying to cram it in others faces he changed. i still don’t watch his content, he just never interested me, but i can admire that he managed to jump over the biggest adversity on youtube history. he did the impossible that i’ve never ever seen before.

Now, a year later, his podcast is still going strong and he signed with the WWE. Perfect career move in my opinion, he found a niche that fits. Professional boxing wasn't quite right for him, it was too serious of a sport for his brand and persona. He actually was a wrestler in high school if I recall correctly. Pro wrestling is perfect for him because it allows him to keep the hype and his persona part of his brand.

I feel like there is this naturally tendency to think someone will always be the same and they can’t grow, but it genuinely warms my heart to see him change for the better and take pride in that.

That’s really what happened to him. He got older, and during his 20s at that. You mature a lot at this point in your life. Some faster than others. Maybe he was just a late bloomer in that aspect. The part where he said I’m just gonna become what everyone is saying I am. Meaning controversial. He was still trying to find his identity, and when he made that mistake In Tokyo he started to mature from there. I think it was a wake up call for him for sure.

I still remember the day the vlog came out. I had been subscribed to Logan for maybe 6 months at that point and had been watching his vlogs daily. I was a freshmen in high school so his loud, obnoxious behavior, although I could tell that, was proper for me at the time. I remember coming home from school and seeing he had uploaded a video. I had been watching the video thinking everything was fine and he was just being his loud self. I thought it was odd for him and his friends to go into that particular forest (given its reputation), but kept watching. Either he or one of his friends pointed out the body of someone who had ended their life. That’s when everything came crashing down. They were talking about seeing the body and then… showed the man (may he Rest In Peace). At that exact moment, I paused the video, unsubscribed, closed KZread, and just sat in my room soaking in what I just saw. I was 14 at the time. I was confused and sad and questioning how anyone would think that could be okay. I will probably remember the shock and reality shift I experienced from that day for a long time. I’m sure non of you care, but I thought I would share my point of view.
