Yes! Many think that becoming a Christian makes you have to give up everything you love. But, the truth is, you start to love different things. The Bible says the Lord will give you the desires of your heart and many take that to mean prosperity, but what it actually means is that our heart starts to desire His will! It’s about what we desire, not getting accumulation of the worldly things the world desires.

I say, “shut the front door” or “barnacles” lol I love your transition to having a relationship with God. I feel that I’m in the same journey now. My music has changed, I tithe as well because I want to, my flesh no longer desires to go dance and get drunk. One of the main things I couldn’t let go is sleeping around with multiple men. Listening to the Weekend, Rihanna, and Cardi made me feel like a bad b lol I did not want to let that go. It influenced my life and lead me to feel empowered by sleeping around with the “hottest” guys I would meet. I never thought I would one day let all that go when I came to a relationship with Jesus. I Liked your openness! When the holy spirit helped me realize it was a sin to fornicate, I stopped at intervals of weeks, months and years and feel it felt so good and pure; but i did fall back in between but finally i can say now that am free at last, all glory to God. When i look back i realize how messing with sin messes up one's emotions and mindset. Its not worth it, best to reserve your body for that divine husband who will cherish you because he has respect for God.

Yo, the Christian music thing is REAL. Whenever I'd get stressed/sad/angry at work, I'd put on Christian music and it felt like the literal weight of whatever bad thing I was feeling was lifted off of me. I would love to see Christian music recommendations from you! And the tithing...man oh man, that heart and mentality shift was LIFE CHANGING. There was a peace that came with tithing and honoring that, even when I was struggling financially vs. having money for myself but still being stressed about how things would work out financially for me. I'm in Korea right now and I am really feeling the loss of community - whether it's just friends or having a church. God bless you - I'm so inspired by your videos and content.

God had comforted me as well through the kingdom music

I've become completely dependent on Jesus. I need to spend my time with him. It's when i'm most at peace. It's where we communicate. It's where my spirit is strengthened. My daily faith has completely transformed my out look on God. I also feel the transition with music, I've started listening to only gospel on Sundays and i'd like to add more days to it. There's this conviction that I get when I'm listening to worship. When I listen to certain types of music it just doesn't feel right. This walk with God is truly a journey. It's difficult at times. But the peace that I have is amazing. I would love for you to do a gospel playlist that would be amazing. P.S Thank you for motivating me to do the Daniel fast. I'm starting on September 7th!

The way I dress/ want to dress has changed and the amount of material things I feel like I want or need to have has changed.

I use to be constantly worried what people thought of me. I strived for perfection in every aspect of my life. Now I rest in the peace that I’m known and loved by God. There’s nothing greater and more freeing. I’d be lying if I said I still don’t struggle with people’s approval but it doesn’t have a hold over me like it use to.

I have transformed similarly in the same ways. I listen to gospel music 95% of the day and the other music is edited. Im working on my cursing but i cant stand hearing it. I was also a HUGE hip hop fan and can barely listen now. Its been hard for me to hang out with childhood friends because they are still worldly and thats all they want to talk about so Im praying about that. I just got into a bible based church so I’m praying that will bring me the relationships i need to be around. The books I read outside of the bible are also completely faith based because nothing else interests me anymore.

Today I just delete all my social media except KZread

when I watched your testimony, I was shocked. because my story has been exactly the same. I just gave my life to christ and I've been feeling so many changes within me. I stopped obessively thinking about myself, my past or future, most music lyrics make me feel sick, I avoid cursing and completely gave up alcohol and drugs. I've been truly born again. bless you, sister!

I’ve just started my relationship with God and I’d definitely say my taste in entertainment like music,books, series, and movies, and I learn something everyday that I didn’t know about myself good and bad just small things , like I complain a lot , a bit judgmental 🥺🥺, and I feel like the most important is realizing how the world is so against the word. Like how people say be selfish with yourself, you don’t need friends, or do what makes you happy, yet the Bible says the opposite. Lastly how something’s that I thought were normal and I didn’t understand why it was such a big deal , I’ve come to the realization that When God says don’t do this , it’s not because he is a buzz kill, he knows what it leads to and the negative things that associated with it that will eventually harm you emotionally, spiritually, mentally, even physically , he loves us so much that he doesn’t want any harm on us.

I started to get conviction over my cursing, my love for wordly music, and gossiping. I love that I was made new in HIS image and not mine

I loved this video and the perspective on relationships! My whole life has completely changed. I used to be obsessed with horror movies and now it's difficult to watch them. I used to have constant issues with nightmares/sleep paralysis and now it is non existent. I also find myself not being as afraid or feeling hopeless because I know God is with me.

Love this. Very rare do I hear Christians with a platform share so honestly and vulnerably about “worldly” things like struggling with cursing and rap music likes lol. I love being transparent and real so thank you for encouraging me. 🙏🏽 Yes, I’ve seen Jesus transform my music taste this past year, it’s amazing how the Holy Spirit works so quietly and intricately in us to will to and act 🙌🏾

Socially I've done the opposite. I used to have no boundaries, and would prioritize other peoples needs over my own, always be available to hang out but now I have boundaries, and its serving a larger purpose! And my relationships have grown because of it, or completely tapered off.

My transformation happen after a fast I did and then I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit just walking out of the front door of my apartment. My priorities and all the things I did for pleasure changed. I used to play video games but I no longer play because I had to watch what goes into my ear gate and eye gate and it became like a idol. Now I just turn everything off and study the Word, pray and worship and if I watch tv it's when I'm falling asleep. I'm rarely on my computer anymore now I just read the Bible and Christian books and journal prayers. I have so many books now. I praise God for my new life and walk and relationship there is nothing like it. Thanks for sharing, keep growing!

Since I have been getting closer to God I have found Myself and I now communicate with God. I don't try to fight battles I pray and ask God what to do and say.

My change in music taste was very drastic as well!! (I used to be huge on rap and hip-hop) And the kind of content that I consume on the internet, and also the books that I read. Do make a Spotify playlist of your favorite artist!! I'm still trying to discover more Christian artist!

I’ve changed not only with music but with the TV shows I watch and not binge watching.

I noticed that I changed my outlook on myself. I changed the relationship dynamic that I had with friends.

Yessss...that tithing part. I used to think that not having enough money automatically exempts me from giving. But these days? Jesus just literally baffles me with how much He's changed me. Now I can legit give my last change out and not bate an eyelid. Like I'll still be all smiles. I like this cheerful giver the Lord has turned me into!

I never viewed tything that way either. I've heard people say the pastors wont get their money and they dont believe in tythe BUTTTT my gosh it came so easy for me. I never complained about the amount of money I had. Everytime i get my weekly salary the first thing i do is put away my tythe. I dont care if I dont have any money left. I know God's going to provide. Everything comes after. And the blessings that come after you tythe is just so mind blowing. Our God is amazing.😁😁🙏🙏🙏

The transformation process is slow... but I am a WIP, that is....a work in progress.

I listen to Christian songs so much! We have it on at home 24/7 and always put it on in my car whenever I am driving. I meditate on God’s word all the time too. I read the bible with my husband every morning since this pandemic started and our marriage is so wonderful because we have God. The Holy Spirit always talks to both of us. We go to church every Sundays and Wednesdays. God is so good!

I changed the way I pray. For others first, by name, for the holy virtues. I do not pray for material things. These things will disappear. Pray for a pure Spirit, mind and healthy body. Peace 😊

My listening skills have heightened since my relationship with God. I’m more aware of what I expose my mind to.

I used to smoke weed VERY HEAVILY and that’s actually the first thing that changed. My desire to wait until marriage came about. My struggle with masturbation finally ended. Me being more generous and kind to the people around me and strangers came about. My desire to listen to church music came. And currently I feel that God is definitely changing my music taste because I don’t really be wanting to play certain songs because I start to hear the lyrics and feel weird lol 💀 Im pretty sure there’s so much more but thats just a couple. Yesss I listen to Gospel music everyday and if I try to switch to R&B it feels heavy. So if I’m not listening to gospel I listen to country. I’m still working on my cursing it’s just a few words that slip usually nothing too harsh.

I think this is the best Video to show non-believers because you clearly Point Out the way God has changed so that its positive for you. People are very often afraid of the authoritarian aspect of Religion because they are afraid to lose their freedom. Tithing and seed sowing has kept my family out of poverty. I didn't plan on being a single parent via divorce. However, staying in my place with my Savior because of my foundation with Christ has made a way for us I can't describe! Every single promise Holy Spirit has fulfilled!! When my divorce took place, every single bill was behind including the mortgage. Today, we are still in our home, every bill is consistently paid, I have no debt except the mortgage,and we lost nothing during the storm of divorce! Thank you for this content!
