Awesome project! Now you just need to add a bookshelf with some books to read and some board games for those deco stops.

VERY nice! Now you just add a couple of waterproof cushions, and you could seriously have a nap on deco!

I have a SI Tech Neck Tite on my suit. You can sleap when you rest the loop against the ring but the position is so awkward that after a while you will wake up because of the neck pain and actually you are supposed to monitor the pO2 and listen to the solenoid firing all the time.

Great project and well done! How do you keep air inside? Do you bring a tank down each time you dive and open the valve? Nicely done on the documentation of the project also.

Put 300mm length of pipe nominal bore to suit widest dimension of wrench handle. A lot tighter, easier ;)

Curious of the choice to go with Zinc over Magnesium for fresh water corrosion protection?

There are no miracles. Big enough drysuit, as much as you can fit underwear (we use weezle extreme+wool), heating vest and argon. We started to use argon after Finnish military made a study about it. It really helps with below 4C water. After that you just have to learn to be in cold environment 😊

@@glenmariusmanumbakken6755 Argon is used as insulation gas in multi layer windows as well. Less heat conductivity than nitrogen (0.03 vs 0.018 W/m*K). Xenon would be even better, but the price is a bit steep for this use.

I believe not. OC divers use the habitat as well. I would not play with fire in 100% O2 environment at 1.6 Bars. You would not have much time to enjoy your joint.

@@mrkiosk245 From Cambridge Dictionary - the natural environment in which an animal or plant usually lives live by definition also from Cambridge - A1: to have your home somewhere, B2: (to continue) to be alive or have life or living (by definition): alive now, still existing. So technically, one could sustain livability to a basic degree by simply being there thus, they are in there - living - all be for a short period. So by definition and encompassing a basic form of living, they are in fact in a 'habitat'.
