I've been listening to these elsewhere, but the comments were turned off... So I was unable to express my delight and gratitude. Theses episodes always reduce me to tears of laughter. So thanks for the mental health tonic 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

Sandi's boisterous laugh at other comedians bits is almost as fun as her own essays.

Just a quick thanks for uploading these. I didn't know of the programme for quite a while into its existence. From my old man memory, I think this must've been the first series i actively sort to listen to. Its such a shame that some of the uploads have been removed, particularly before i got to listen to them. Lots of thanks for posting them.

Thank you for these! I absolutely love listening to this clever, fun game and learning things new to me, as well. Thrilled when I occasionally know some correct answers! ( Grateful for these, also, when I am finding it hard to fall asleep. Calming yet interesting )

1:04:10 Balloons: we love this so much! Yes David is right, a Balloon's popping sound do come from the membrane tearing at over the speed of sound. But! To add an additional fact: the shape and shape of the ballon will affect the popping sound's tambre, where larger balloons or balloon with thinker and more tight latex will cause the pop to sound more "bassy". Some more facts: [1] it's generally agreed that latex balloons pop in two separate ways: the fragment, and the split - balloons which are popped by a sharp object, or are under-inflated tend to split along the weakest path of the membrane causing the balloon to either pop into 1-3 pieces. Balloons which fragment are those which when the balloon pops tgey split, and cause the other tears along tributary weaknesses in the already very tight membrane. Because of this, when you over-inflate balloons, the popping sound is much louder because of the many shards contracting at supersonic speeds. [2] In a related note, balloons fetishist are called "looners" and the term for over-inflating balloons is called "blow to pop" or "b2p" [3] Lastly latex balloons come in a wild and wonderful Arret of different sizes, colours, shapes, textures, and thickness, and yes, you can get balloons with wider necks, and even balloons you can climb into! We have loads more facts, but we'll leave you with that! 😉

Thanks for trying, but sadly he's on a one man mission to report me. Even though I've confirmed the copyright is permissable and even though YT have no issue (as of yet). And I don't make any money from this channel (copyrighted videos can't). Hey ho.
