Honestly I didn't notice this first scene of that bur even I wasn't surprised at it. After all if Diego can alter the trajectory of his knives then it's a logical assumption that he can alter the trajectory of other objects, he likely only uses his knives because maybe its something to do with the wind and the shape of his knives is more convenient to his power

As many people have said before me, his powers may be link to his confidence so if his feeling strong he would take a rocket launcher but, if he feels weak he can get beat up by some normal person.

Well in this instance, they're all obviously more powerful than the ones we've seen, before the time jump they likely couldn't use their powers to the fullest extent because of the whole "badly raised" thing, I'm guessing the time they spent in the 1960s had something to do with unlocking that potential, whether it be reconciliation or something else

Dying from a direct nuclear explosion is not actually painful, maybe you'll experience your hair and skin burned for 10 seconds but the shockwave kills you instantly if you're that close

@@esplooze Radiation and thermal shock would have wiped out the surface nerves almost instantly at that distance. The most they could hope for would be brief discomfort before dissolution, although i wonder if Vanya could simply neutralize the shockwave with her powers, she countered far more before.

2:29 just realized that Ben looked alive and not ghostly for some reason but it foreshadowed how Klaus powers actually worked in the next season

tthey literally evolved with their powers soo much! we missed that when five went back again, they need to learn that again.

I wish we saw more of Klaus using his powers like this but I also just like the fact that they are using their powers more. In the final ep for the war scene they didn’t fight which was kinda disappointing but this was amazing to watch :/

People don’t give Luther enough credit for this scene, I mean he’s basically like hulk it’s awesome leaping great bounds and tanking bombs for his family

After rewatching season one I realized when Luther goes.looking for Diego at the gym the head of the gym tells him hed be good for the boxing game and in season two Luther fights for Jack Ruby. The foreshadowing is unreal and Gerard Way is a genius .

This show has so many small details that people miss

It makes a lot of sense that the siblings hadn’t seen eachother before 5 had showed up. I think they all came together once they saw Vanya on the news blowing up that government building. They’ve probably all have been fighting with eachother since the invasion started but I doubt they had had much contact before the fighting

RiP this badass timeline.

'What the Hell did we do, now?!' The apotheosis of the entire series so far.

Diego's scene was incredible

The powers I believe are Five: teleportation and time travel Klaus: bringing ghosts Luther: insane durability/superhuman strength Diego: curving thrown projectiles Vanya: consuming sound waves and cast it out as energy Ben: octopus tentacles Allison: rumor Plus all of them except Klaus and Vanya are skilled fighters

All members of the umbrella academy were given combat training, excluding Vanya. Klaus has experience in combat training he just never uses it or probably forgot it from all the drugs... Also there is a theory that luther is more powerful than you think because his powers are linked to his confidence and self esteem. In both seasons he had trash self esteem and confidence EXCEPT for the season 2 opening where he seemed to be almost prideful. If his confident and self esteem are at peak levels then he'll have God tier strength and near invincibility, almost like the opening. But that's just a theory

This was one of the best intros I have ever seen. Everything, made me hype for the season. I enjoyed season 2 , but I feel it could have been a lot better.

Season 2 was a lot better than season 1 in my opinion, better plot, better acting, better soundtrack.

The music in this show is beyond genius! It's so well done! Also Diego is my favorite!!

And then they never used their powers even close to like this in S3, what a shame, they all downgraded.

well to be fair they only advanced their powers this much because of ww3 but like when it’s normal life they don’t want their powers none of them do except for diego but he has a serious gf now so he’s ok with losing his powers now (but he is the only one who cares and loves his powers) five has his intelligence and doesn’t even need to rely on them i’m sure he’s capable of building a teleporter allison hates her powers klaus doesn’t care for his powers and just gets high luther hates his body and has a wife now and doesn’t care even if he did lose it vanya spent most of her life without using them and hates it cause it blew up the world 2x

Rewatching ua and omg this is a masterpiece. Seeing them all using their powers to their full potential is great. Honestly one of the best scenes out of ua

To be honest, when the whole army of commission showed up, I was hopibg for a scene similar to this where they all fight together showcasing their abilities but Vanya just one shotted them, a bit disappointing but Im still satisfied with what I got.

This is one of my favorite scenes. From any show. Ever.

Has anyone been standing next to a projectile being shot? I have, when I was in the army. A large canon was shooting during a military exercise, and we were standing right next to it, which is completely harmless as long as you're not in front of it. It was a great feeling actually. The soundwave went straight through your body, and you could feel it everywhere.

As anyone else bummed that we never got to see the events that lead to this. I mean overall, the season was good, but I would have loved to see this scene come full circle.

PLZZ THEY ALL ADVANCED SO MUCH JUST FOR IT TO NOT HAPPEN. AGAIN ;-; OFC ;-; IM so happy tho, Vanya is now more emotionally stable and can control her powers more. Allison finally feels the need to use her powers and she learned a few things. so did Diego, Klaus, and Luther. Klaus can now project many souls, Luther did the super jump and sustained fire on his body, Diego made the bullets go different directions, Vanya could use her power on command, and Allison.. the most impressive tbh.. she literally made what she said happen.. she literally blew their minds.. multiple. at once.

Just watched season 3 and still had to come back and watch this scene. Klaus powers are gonna be sick in season 4

I love cinema and shows and have seen most and I have to say that this is one of the best few minutes ever put to film (well not film now) but you know what I mean.

Man that intro of each character at the beginning of season two was so awesome, presenting them using their powers at the fullest was so hype for the rest of the season, it was disappointing then to see it go nowhere. I mean the season was fine but you only get to enjoy glimpses of their true powers and Ben ends up dying. It's kind of counter to the sweet intro of the season. Then season three comes along and I think they forgot how much their powers can grow because there was no growth in that season whatsoever. Just kind of disappointing is all.

This gave me such FALLOUT vibes hahah
