That’s so hard cause there’s so many! Ben and Jerry’s has over 10 vegan flavors as does SO delicious. Quite a few nada moo, haagen dahz, and even breyers ice creams too. Not saying I dislike the idea btw, just don’t know how it would be done. Maybe doing the same flavor for each brand?

Ugh I loveeeee so delicious. It tastes just like normal ice-cream to me. The cinnamon cookie one ams caramel cluster, so good! And at one point they had cold brew coffee. I wish I could still find that one

I LOVE THIS RANKING SERIES!!!! I dont typically buy frozen pizza and I will make my own!! Idk if you would honestly count this as a pizza but I make "pizza" by using pizza dough and putting pesto, tofu, basil and tomatoes on it!! ITS SO SO GOOD AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND (its also really affordable to make)

Blackbird is absolutely my favorite too!! I tend to steer clear of frozen vegan pizza because so often it's also gluten free and I hate to admit that I just cant stand a gluten free crust 😢 but Blackbird is awesome. Amy's is pretty good too and I actually love the cheese less roasted veggie one 🤷‍♀️ I love the daiya toppings but again the crust... lol... I just need a good fluffy crust. Wish daiya made gluten free and gluten full versions of their pizza 🍕

I feel like it would be great if you just ranked the taste and not the nutritional content! People can look up the nutrition facts for any of these items and decide for themselves what's important to them. The thing we don't know until we buy it is how it tastes! Personally when I'm eating a frozen pizza I just want it to taste good :) thanks for these great reviews!

and I thought the other way. on the basis that, I think how food makes you feel after eating it is just as important. maybe it's because I have a sensitive digestive system that can be quite aggressive in the after food experience. lol.

However, she didn't say anything about how the food made her feel, she simply gave us the numerical value of the sodium content. This is something that you can very easily look up online for each product before purchasing. Also, how food makes you feel is so incredibly personal, so even if she did say how she felt after eating the food, it would likely have little to no value to you. You could both eat the same food and feel completely different. No one but you knows what level of sodium or any other nutrient is appropriate for you!

Love these segments! Makes me hungry everytime tho. But rate the dishes purely on the basis of taste, let us know the healthy segments of it, but let the TASTE be the PURE JUDGE!

I think that how you feel after eating is just as important. Are you really going to choose to buy a frozen pizza that makes you feel bad (e.g. dehydrated, nauseous, etc) even if it tastes good? And to me, food can't taste good once my brain knows that I will feel terrible after. lol

i saw a few comments saying that bringing up the nutritional info about each pizza is unnecessary, but honestly it’s super duper helpful to me and it’s not like it takes time away from the video. but it’s really helpful for health conscious viewers (such as yours truly) so that i don’t have to go internet digging for the info on each pizza. so thank you for including the nutritional info & i hope you keep doing it !

I love these videos! Personally, I only care about the taste and the price. If I am eating freezer meals health value really doesn’t matter to me

Like you mentioned, most frozen foods aren't good for you, especially frozen pizzas, so I would just ignore that aspect in terms of rating if I were you. My ultimate fav is the blackbird supreme, but I also love all three of the amy's flavors that you tried (and I'm going to ignore your unfair hate for the cheeseless one 😉).

Such a fun episode! In regards to including "health" information about the food, I'd be more interested in allergen information that anything having to do with "health" ironically the salt is a good example, I need more than most cause of an autoimmune disorder I have, so that's not unhealthy for me (might be for others still!) But knowing there was a gluten free option, actually helpful for me! I think too it can get a little triggering when we're ranking food based on "healthy" because that's SO subjective, and for a lot of people, putting any type of food into their bodies every day is a battle enough, let alone worrying about the "health" of the items too. (Like we know everything in moderation is best, but neurodivergant brains/people with a history of eating disorders have to learn that all food is good food, and a full tummy is what matters 🥰) I love this series so much, I have no actual complaints! But since you asked for opinions! Haha Ranking it based on accessibility, taste, and price, seems like a good three tier system to me 🥰 Love your content always Merle!

Loved this ranking video so much! Honestly, I really appreciated hearing your existential crisis when ranking because it helps me know what I would want to eat in different times and circumstances. Sometimes you wanna eat a pizza tasting thing but not want to wake up multiple times in the night to relieve your bladder of the gallons of water you had to drink post pizza… and sometimes you just wanna go all in despite knowing that you will most likely feel like poop afterwards. Anyway, I appreciated knowing all of your thoughts and feelings about each one though it made the ranking process harder haha. Thank you!

We tried the Amy's vegan supreme one for the first time a couple weeks ago and were surprised at how good it was. The only other brand we had tried was daiya and we all thought it was disgusting. Excited to try Amy's margahrita and the blackbird brand, thanks for the recommendations!!

Thank you for this, Merle! I have a garlic allergy and the only vegan pizza I could find that doesn't have garlic is the Amy's Margarita Pizza. I was worried that it wouldn't be as good as other vegan pizzas, but now I am excited to try it!

You just made me realize why Amy’s vegan margarita pizza didn’t trigger my acid reflux, most pizzas do it to me, including most fried foods but it must be a garlic thing

@@L1ttlef0ot Acid reflux can definitely have allergic or allergic-like triggers so I wouldn't be surprised. With the Amy's Margarita Pizza, it also doesn't have onion in it, so that might be another thing to keep an eye on. Good luck!

I LOVE that Vermont was represented with the American Flatbread one! I love that place and go to their Burlington location frequently since I live right by it.

for gluten free pizza i rly recommend the brand oggi ! especially the siciliana one, the crust is pretty good for GF and it's super yummy :)

Canned soups! You could even do a few videos, sub-sectioning the different kinds. I'm thinking of Gardein, Pacific. Amy's, McDougall's, Imagine, Progresso, Upton's, store brands (Great Value, Trader Joe's, Simple Truth), Well Yes!, and maybe others...?

The first few pizza's looked absolutely delicious! I would totally buy those if I could

I think I would just give each item 2 rankings: one for taste and a holistic one combining taste, price, nutrition, gluten-free or not, etc. Also thanks for making these videos. Vegan but my diet is pretty boring. Would be open to trying new things more but I don't have too much disposable income and I'm afraid of wasting money on something I might not like. I'll definitely look into trying the TJ and flatbread pizza when I can.

LOVE Blackbird! It's the best! They hand toss the crust unlike the machine disks used in other pizzas. Great video!

I like that you mention the health stuff! But I wouldn’t take it into account TOO heavily in your ranking. But for example, it’s useful to know that even though the daiya pizza tastes really good, they went about it in a much different way than the blackbird brand

I love the Daiya. You need to cook it directly on the bottom rack for the cook time then move to top rack for an additional 10 minutes. It crisps beautifully that way

I ate a sweet earth pizza last night, and I swear, that brand seems to just be mildly disappointing for everything I've tried from them. Thanks for the ranking! :)

Amy’s vegan Margherita pizza is THE best as a base to add more toppings! Beyond OGGI Texan style is also a favorite. This was enjoyable, thanks for sharing 😊

I think the only ones we have over here are the Amy ones but I tend not to buy frozen pizza if i can help it. We are lucky enough to have a couple of places in town that deliver vegan pizza so that's my first choice cos I plan movie/pizza days lol :D :D :D

As someone that is lactose intolerant i've been kind of experimenting with various different things, one being vegan because it's all i've really found for dairy free. It's been tough because I want the actual thing but i can't have too much. So, stumbling upon your videos has helped, I've been contemplating on trying the Daiya cheese pizza so maybe after this i'll give it a try. The Oggi plant based pizzas with beyond meat are so good! And they by far have the best cauliflower gf crust I have ever had. You should definitely include them for a GF episode.

The crust is good on them, and the first couple times I had them they tasted great. Recently though they've tasted kind of bland. Not bad just not as much flavor. I had to add salt to get it to taste right.

I love the BBQ chkn one from Blackbird. So delicious.

Blackbird is amazing...I even BURNT my first Blackbird & I still ate it & it was still the best vegan frozen pizza I'd ever had.

I work at Trader Joe’s and we have so many awesome vegan products that most people don’t know about! You should try the vegan ramen and vegan frozen meal!!

Thank you for doing this, Merle. I've been dying to try but hate wasting money on anything but a GREAT frozen pizza. Because otherwise, Trader Joe raw pizza dough and the bit of time it takes to make fresh is 100 times more worth any frozen variety. But I am planning on getting Trader Joe's Meat Lover's Meatless and put garlic butter all over the tasteless crust! Plus more cheese maybe.

the no cheese amy's pizza is one of the only ones on this list that i have access to and i've tried, and it's really good in my opinion! i get that it's not for everyone and it's not like your traditional tomato sauce and cheese pizza but i still enjoy it and i like to add my own veggies on top. it definitely depends on how long you cook it though if you prefer the crust to have a certain texture, but overall very satisfying for me. i had no idea they all had so much sodium though

YES to a gluten free episode! And allergy-friendly products in general! So many vegan products use gluten, unfortunately for me.

we don't have any of these pizzas available in finland cause we obviously don't have the same grocery stores here, but there's a finnish brand with a couple of frozen vegan pizzas that cost only about 2,5 euros and they're really delicious!

That was a fun video! Not vegan but a lot of those pizza looked really good and might have fooled me as being vegan. Thanks for the video!

I'm not even vegan but i love the daiya meatless meat lovers pizza! I make mine in an air fryer so it's really crispy though.

I grew up in the town American flatbread started! I went to high school with George’s daughter and my family’s supermarket was the first to carry their pizza!

Yes please on the gluten free ranking!! I’m a new subscriber and I’m also recently diagnosed with a chronic disease that has drastically changed my diet and some of the huge changes are eliminating gluten and dairy but there’s a lot of restrictions. I’ve found it much easier just to look for vegan + gluten free food than to try and sort out all the remaining restrictions. For the most part of its vegan and gluten free I can have it.

I love the blackbird ones! The crust is so good and the toppings are solid. I tend to avoid Amy's brand generally due to the ethical concerns with the company.

Oo you should taste test Whipped Urban dessert lab ice cream pints! It's gourmet vegan and black women owned ice cream from a NYC scoop shop (sold on goldbely) and it's literally the best thing ever!!

So interesting how everyone has different palates. Besides blackbird's, the flatbread is my number 1!
