I just made this for dinner tonight, it was 💣🔥! lemon was a great suggestion. Served it with white rice. I’m going to add a TBS> of vegan butter next time. I recommend doubling this recipe, two hungry vegans demolished it in one sitting.

That looks sooooo damn good. I've never had harissa paste before, but I love spicy stuff, so I am so down. I'm not on low carb, so I'm definitely making garlic rice or tamarind rice with this.

Erewhon is too cheap for me. If my smoothie isn't at least $100 with edible gold flakes, I don't want it.

The tomato sauce in the Do not eat section is probably the ready made one with a ton of added sugar. They most definitely don't mean plain passata

by sending a comment on this vid it probably means ull see it? ... please tell me since im locally sourcing the honey im eating or sometimes the eggs i eat on special occasions and most probably no harm is caused to those animals - why im a not allowed to be called a vegan- i dont eat any flesh or boob milk .... please i already love ur videos so please based on that dont slam the vegan community door on my face (it already happened to me in my country-cyprus) - just close the door slowly !

More Oil would help a lot. if they are fully coverd in hot oil it means less movement on the cheese. also some Citric acid like a quarter of a teaspoon, would improv both flavor and stability.

This video was well worth my time; thank you! Great ideas. We've been enjoying the tvp, too, but I hadn't thought of sloppy Joe's and I love the idea of adding in lentils.

looks so good!! :’) in my experience adding nutritional yeast early on in the cooking process kinda kills its flavor, so maybe adding the yeast towards the end would be helpful!

I make a very similar recipe!! I like to blend tomato paste or passata wit a block of soft tofu and some cashews for the base. I haven't been able to find harissa paste so I use the dry spice powder, and I loveeee topping the dish with hemp seeds! lol those are my 'protein boosting' hacks that I do hahah

One things Ive always wondered about TVP is if they weight shown on the package's nutritional value is for the dehydrated weight or the rehydrated weight. I am assuming dehyrdated...

Merle, iodine supplementation resolved my hypothoyid, even my eyebrows are growing full. It may alleviate your symptoms, and fix your T3, T4 hormone production. Potassium-iodine from Iherb and maybe Throne thyroid cofactors (if your low in those minerals) could also help ya out. Little tip, ease off the dietary Goitrogens, it may bind to the iodine and block intestinal absorption. Take care.

I have lupus and sjogrens diseases, and suffer from systemic, high levels of inflammation . My rheumatologist recommended me to stay away from nightshades as they can aggravate inflammation. I know I’ve had to really watch my diet when it comes to capsicum, and concentrated tomatoes. Just thought I’d share. Yes, it’s so hard to not eat the shit out of my favorites - tomato, peppers and eggplant 😣 I sometimes just say the heck with it and eat it, but I will have to pay the price with a bad flare 😭
