THE ULTIMATE MASONIC INITIATION WELL AND 19TH CENTURY PALACE !! MORE IS MORE. Sintra, Portugal

Quinta da Regaleira is famous for housing one of the most extreme masonic buildings ever known to man. The imagination to create this deeply symbolic and mysterious setting, with a 19th Century palace, an enormous seven story INITIATION well dug deep into the earth, secret tunnels, turrets, and waterfalls, is beyond all imagination. Symbols are scattered throughout this part of the Sintra UNESCO World Heritage Site, denoting the crusading Knights Templar, which later became the Order of Christ, along with serious Masonic iconography. Hold on tightly to your seats because this place is seriously enigmatic and a little bit scary!

This was everything anyone would desire in a dream and more. Has much suspense and dreamy grandeur and yet Romantique overtures. Perfect for me anyway. Would have loved a suspenseful, quiet journey through the towers and all of the waterfalls and finding even all the hidden gems. Loved all the history given, and the fun you both have together as you do these vlogs! You keep is so enjoyable as to have us feel as though we too are moving along with you and this time wonderful at times if you were lost, or if somehow you would make it out before dark, and the park did close! So much to see and all in just one place, Thanks Stephanie and Ollie! Just look forward to so much, to these vlogs! The castles are always the best, and the churches and the castles were kept up so nicely.

Beautiful dress Stephanie! The stone work AND the wood work was stunning. So were the wall paintings. But you're right, the gardens and all the stone towers and grottos were well worth the walk. Thanks so much for sharing this. Stephanie's story about her trip to Croatia and the land mines just cracked me up!! Beautiful music as well.

I was just there in April of this year and at that same Palace. and spent time in both initiation wells. It is such a beautiful unique place, Sintra, with so much deep history. and the Quinta de Regalaria is a stunning Palace It is a Knights of the Templar Initiation well. There is a difference, I have been studying the history. The initiation included the Knights going in one by one, blindfolded with their sword across their heart, descending into the 9 levels and if they found their way out where the stepping stones are they would across them symbolizing Christ walking on water and their initiation would be complete and considered a success. I experienced an incredible initiation in the second well, it was said they used that one more often than the one with the Knights of Templar cross

I dare you to visit Rosenborg Slot for instance, it's a Bijou castle and very pretty indeed.
