Congratulations on this amazing work! I went from 102k last patch to 119k, using the static rotation with crystal frags and mage's wrath, so really encouraging so far! I hope you'll manage to do the same for other classes, but as a main sorc, I'm already happy now so thanks again.

A fun over looked aoe set is mad tinkerer. The proc is a pet, shocks enemies, stuns. Crit and spell power stats

Thanks for the video! Is it possible to replace 2h with a stuff with this build? Which skills should I used then? Also when used on a magicka build and keeping the stamina low, isn’t it dangerous in fight when a block/dodge is needed?

Realistically any fight can be done with low stamina. If you’re worried, you can run cp like expert evasion to help. You can run it with a staff but you’ll def lose some damage. Run wall over other weapon skill

So why exactly is it better to run flame on the two handed instead of poison? Poison ticks for longer but does flame deal more damage? Or is it an uptime thing since it's only 4 seconds instead of 6? Or does it not matter and it's just preference? Typically if my rotation offers that damage type I pick the enchant opposite of that so there's more opportunities for damage since you can only have one instance of a status effect per target. That being said, I've never actually done the specific numbers to be sure that's consistent in practice

It’s just based on what does the most damage. Flame enchant proc burning and burning is strongest status effect in the game. Poison is a close second but not quite as valuable.

yup that is a fantastic set up!

Running a False-God 5 set/RoPO Mythic/Swarm Mother's Hat/Mother's Sorrow Shoulders, Neck and Ring with L Staff/Maelstrom L Staff I can hit about 20k DPS, but I feel I'm not hitting as hard as I could. I play solo, don't have any guilds so nobody to easily group with for trials/arenas. Any advice? Gonna see about grinding for this build and trying my luck.

Are you parsing on a 21 mil dummy?

Order's wrath is not from Galen mate, it's a craftable set from High Isle and Backalley Gourmand is from Galen. Good guide regardless.

if you can get good coral uptimes, I found that coral performs about 3-4k over rele.

How to you sustain your stam during your parse? I just tried it out and my stam is getting burnt after a few rotations

You shouldnt have too much of an issue with sustain. Hard cast frags when needed but its a damage loss to do so. Start your parse with a potion halfway on cooldown like i did and wait a few seconds before taking the synergy. If you still have issues, we can examine further.

Still viable!

While I realize that the meta is dual wielding or two handed, for me it’s not fun to play. I like my mag characters to use staves, i realize it’s lower damage but if forced to use daggers i will simply quit the game. No sense in playing if i am not having fun. (Rambling, yes. Sorry about that.)

Nah you are right. Staffs need buffs. I shouldn't be using a 2hander on a magic class. Get hybrid, but everything shouldn't have to be that way. It's lame.

You said it all. For me, sorcerer only makes sense with a stave. Imagine Gandalf with a 2 handed weapon😅 This game is awesome but this kind of thing makes people leave it.

Right at the beginning and never again

Deadly cloak is no longer worthwhile for using after its nerf. I’d recommend other morph (30 seconds duration)

It depends on the fight. Deadly is still stronger than quick cloak, but if the fight types line up well enough to cast quick cloak only once or twice without it dropping then it’s more worth running

What about bleeding strike from dual wield? It seems to be best dot since it always applies hemmorage on top of it.

Nope this build is made mainly for 12 man content, where you have two healers. I list some options for survivability in the flex skills sections though!

why is no creator just making videos that just give you what to run without all these explanations. sure the explanations are good for beginners but for me I just need a video of what to run. videos to run used to be simple now there is no video just saying what to run. it's a little irritating.

@eigh1puppies wasn't whining just making a statement. some of us who have played the game for years just need creators to make simple builds that tell us what to run for max damage. creators nowadays are too focused on beginner players and forget about the others that have been playing for years. you creators are super important and make the game easier since eso is so massive the game creators don't tell us everything about the game. I do admire you creators but some of us need a short, simple, and to the point builds to run. I work 2 jobs and don't play as often as I want. I've looked around and most of the creators are doing the same thing. appeasing the new players. it would be great if older players like myself would get build videos that are short with some explanation as why to run the best skills and gear but we don't need multiple options for console players.

Yeah sure I understand that but there are creators who make short content. Post a parse and a build and there you go, it's all in the description. This video isn't for beginners, it's for people who want to understand everything that they can about a class. There is info in here that's related to score pushing. If you want a basic setup and don't want to watch the full video, most creators, usually myself included, post a link to a picture of the build in the description. Charles posts 3 minute parse videos with the build. You can't expect to understand everything about a class in three minutes, but if that's all the time you have, that's as good as it gets
