Quick corrections/additions: 5:52 - The Super Rare Samples spawn in clusters of 3 on Difficulty 7. In Difficulty 8 they spawn in clusters of 5, and on Difficulty 9 they spawn in clusters of 6. 6:27 - You can also unlock the Premium Warbond trees using Super Credits, which can be farmed in-game. 7:36 - Some helmets currently have hidden modifiers. It's possible that a future update will introduce visible stat changes to helmets (and possibly capes?).

@@RanjakarPatel It is true - you can get 750 super credits from the regular battle pass and can find more randomly in missions, especially from the buried containers and vaults you need 2 people to open. You can also get them from the other areas of interest where there's glowing drop pod thingies.

Very well done video. Highly informative, quick and to the point.

To say that this game is slimy, is just outright wrong. The fact that you can get it quicker by paying money, but you can also get it for free by grinding is what the gaming industry needs.

Just an FYI, the premium battle pass can be purchased by people who dont have the Super Citizen DLC. You dont even need to spend money - you can grind out Super Credits by playing the game and purchase the premium pass that way.

Yes. But you get 10 per super credit location at yellow location points. So you'll still need to grind it and get somewhat lucky. I got 30 in one mission

Super rare samples drop 6 per map around the silver rock on helldiver, not 3. Amount of samples is determined mission difficulty which explains why you consistently got the same amount:) Also, the drip armor on the thumbnail is BIS especially considering that armor is bugged right now and everything has the same armor value. 50% chance not to die is great. Light armor is also really good at kiting, but you won't be able to unlock it until farther down the free battle pass tree or finding some in the super credits store!

None of my friends nor family play Helldivers 2 so I’m always playing solo or with randoms These tips are super helpful! I’m right now at level 21 but barley know anything about the game, all I know is “see a bug, kill it, complete objective, extract” 😅 The tip you said about Effects HELPS SO MUCH!! I don’t understand people complaining about the microtransactions in this game or calling them “slimy”. Games nowadays are gonna have microtransactions, it’s just part of the business, specifically when it comes to live service games where they need to keep paying developers to work on content for the game after it’s released (same reason mmos have had subscriptions for literally 20+ years). HD2 has some of the most “gamer friendly” microtransaction systems I’ve seen in a while, the items in the shop are fairly cheap and YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO BUY THE CURRENCY, you can get it just from playing missions.

Agreed, and microtransactions are why this game is able to be as cheap as it is. If they removed all microtransactions, they would have to charge more up-front, and might not be able to provide as much live support as they are. There are plenty of games with predatory microtransaction systems, but Helldivers is definitely not one of them.

I’d hardly call it slimy tbh - microtransactions for the most part have always been a part of live service games, it’s nothing new. They at least did it well in this game allowing you to earn them in the world. Can get up to 100 in each location

railgun unsafemode goto irons its pretty nice once you get the charge down 3 shots for a charger

The helmet do actually have modifiers if you look at the armor before and after each helmet some will change

there is a helmet that gives stam and speed boost btw... it doesn't list it, but DEV confirmed and you can see the stam increase in game +9, like page 7 i think blazer. .. your welcome

Heres 2 more. Right click a friend who is already online and join game via steam friends list, you'll skip the que and jump right in Rebind stratagems to arrow keys. This allows you to keep running and avoid standing still while inputing the code

... I brought the prem battlepass with super credits found in-game (still need ingame medals)... Nothing slimy there. The prem cosmetics can also be brought with the super credits you find in game...

decent tips but god u need to word things better sometimes, calling the game "slimy" is an outright lie. u can unlock EVERYTHING in the game by playing, there is no "slimy". that fireshotgun no ty it is bad compared to the original braiker shotgun, sure it helps to put them on fire but not that much. ofc this is my opinion I just like to oneshot instead of 2-3 shot+fire to kill.

I like it, I enjoy it and I will support it becouse they are moveing in a derection that is more akin to the old days then most other games and studios. so little one just no, go home sleep it off and come back so we can properly talk. if u come back let me know what exactly u dont agree with. if its the monetization then I will say right away it has the best way to do it in a live service game I have seen in many many years. sense u only need to pay for the base game and everything else u can unlock without paying anything and there no timelimit on the "battlepass" so u wont miss anything.

i think labeling one aspect of a game as “slimy” among a slew of praise in the rest of the video is completely valid. we, as consumers, have been screwed left and right by these massive corps that refuse to pump out a product that doesn’t protect their precious profit margins. often times this was due to the overwhelming focus on this EXACT aspect of the game; micro-transactions. it is absolutely reasonable to call micro-transactions slimy, especially given the current gaming climate. regardless of if the currency is earn-able or not. however, idolatry (what you’re doing), is exactly what got us here in the first place. if you want to continue to have good products like this game seems to be (cant say for sure until the live service promises are met) then you probably shouldnt put this company on a pedestal and have them thinking they can get away with following a rigid formula that serves solely to pump out revenue for the next decade. (Activision-Blizzard, Ubisoft, 2K, EA, GTA V, Bethesda, must I go on?)

Buying the supercredits in the store is very modest and hardly slimy. Id take this where the max you can spend is 20 bucks and its all you really need, as opposed to activision or EA. They are way worse. Arrowhead really does care about their players

Brother you can unlock everything in the game simply by playing. There is NOTHING in the game that i'm aware of that you are required to spend money to unlock.

Tbh the game is easy so long as you arent killing your teammates which most of you cant handle. They need to stick friendly fire as default in like all shooters.

I don't get why people are putting the cape on for a video game. Charging microtransactions in a game that's not free to play is slimy, 100% of the time in any conceivable scenario, full stop - end of discussion. There's been dozens of games in the past 10 years with this same system and "You don't need to pay actual money! All the content can be unlocked through gameplay!" Yeah, pal, how *much* gameplay? How many hours of your lives are you comfortable with losing because you were tricked into thinking you got something worth it in the end? Not to mention, just like those other games, give it 6 months and they'll gradually increase the amount of grinding required and decrease the amount of currency they pay out. We've seen it before, and from companies with a lot more clout that Arrowhead does, IDK why ya'll have this delusion that Helldivers 2 won't do that.
