The Ultimate Guide To Selecting The Perfect Jig Head!

Choosing the right JIG HEAD is a much more important step than most saltwater anglers realize. The right jig head has to have a strong corrosion resistant hook, a great paint job that will not chip or flake. A great jig head also needs a very strong hook that will not break or bend when put under stress.
The jig head is your only connection to the fish of a lifetime and must be a solid component of your fishing gear. In this HOW TO fishing vid we will discuss what to look for in a good jig head and how to tell if its going to quality based on the packaging.
We hop you enjoy this SALTWATER FISHING how to vid and it helps you on the water one day!!

Thank you for this tutorial now I'm going to have and look at what I've got and start tossing the bad ones. I bought some 3d jigs this last boat show and I'm going to try them this Saturday when I'm breaking in my new motor

I learned a couple things I didn’t know…that surprised me! Nice job. One thing I was surprised you didn’t mention was the shape of the jig head itself. Which is actually why I watched the video and what I was looking for. Specifically, I’m looking for the best stand up shaped jig heads. I’ll be more specific, I want to at times fish a live or fresh dead shrimp on a jig head and I want to bottom bounce it so it stands up when it hits bottom. Most jig heads will fall over…some stand up better than others…and I don’t know what jigheads work really well for this. Do you? I understand the basic shapes that claim to stand up…but want something that really good for this purpose. Help? Any ideas or directions you can point me in? Thanks so much!
