@@KordaTV any comments on the blank you use pls? Dani said it's a new blank from Japan, the Longbow blank has been around for 15 years?

These look great, really impressive and I like the philosophy of making a “junior” version of the range topper to deliver almost all the performance. My problem is Danny is an excellent angler and would out perform me with a broom handle. What you need to show the advantages of these rods is to make a film of some chump like me struggling to get over 80yrds and no accuracy with their own kit, then give them the Kaizens and some coaching, and have them casting 130yrds with “pinpoint accuracy” later that same afternoon - that’d sell you some rods!

Having been out on a casting lesson with Terry, we got to all try the rods out pre release. These rods were amazing. We had Harrison treb lites built with torzite guides, free spirit 13ft hi s ive’s, free spirit hi s er, Korda platinums We all cast our furthest casts of the day with the green 13ft 4lb. As we are going jazarki one of us cancelled buying a set of Hi s ‘Ives’ as he could justify the money difference when the green was casting just as far There was some line and reel differences , some had basia’s, some had technium’s old and new versions. So not a complete equal test BUT….we couldn’t believe these rods were competing. No sponsorships or alliances with this comment.

Pre ordered these last month. Seen they have been sent out today. Cannot wait to go play with them. Will get to use them at Gigantica in June this year too- can’t wait! Also that new Kaizen net coming out looks decent too!

Got the spod rod, whack it out at 168 yards! Smashing the clip with a 4oz lead! Felt like the rod could give more! Such a amazing rod for the price! ❤️❤️

They should do 3-3.5 tc. 4 is way too much unless cat fishing maybe or shark or even whale fishing. And why do anglers always have to cast stupid distances when you van catch fish about 10ft out or in the near edge

any plans for different builds? have used full corks for the last 30 years & couldn't imagine using anything else.

I love my longbow df 12ft 3.5lb had them for years, but im a tart and i love that green 💚 how do these rods compare to the longbow df?

Kaizen need a amphibious barrow in the range, a barrow to carry all your gear but can deploy quickly as a boat. With a outboard, also you can clip a bivvy to the top of it, so you free to explore and kept dry.

i'm going to wait for the independent review videos to come out as only ones i seen so far are from korda employees so far. not hating on Korda I'm sure they are fine rods for the price point and I Use Korda stuff all the time and it never let me down.

If these are a lesser carbon than the platinum I wouldn’t fancy them much at all…. I have a video of a platinum which snapped inbetween the whippings of the 50mm butt ring being only 2/3 weeks old. If I could post the video/pictures I would… I’ve never, ever seen a rod snap there in 25 years of carp fishing.

Look good but ill have to stick with my aircurves this year

The platinums use the longbow blank so these will be the crosscast or emblem I reckon

What a shame it doesn't have the alps reel seat otherwise I would have bought 2 kaizen green 12 ft 4 lbs. In this case I am going to buy Daiwa Basia 12ft 4.25 lbs.

Superb rods, no doubt, for the money. But no line clip? I hate the clip on ones personally and consider a line clip as essential. Sadly I'll have to give these a miss.

I have now had a waggle with these in a tackle shop. Stunning to look at. Very sexy indeed. Balance feels great too. Great job team korda 💚. Maybe the mk2's will have a line clip just for me...seriously though in 30 years of Carp fishing I've not seen better for the money. Gotta hand it to ya Danny 👏 Bravo

Shame the 10ft rods only go down to 3lbs TC. 2.5 - 2.75lbs TC would be ideal for smaller waters.

I just get dont buy the platinum ones and get the green ones

I've seen these rods in the flesh and they look sexy, If I didn't have decent rods already I'd give them a go.

This just proves the platinum are way to expensive. With the slightest of changes you can produce a rod which is three times more cheap than the platinum. Sounds like the platinums are a absolute scam!

Hope you will add the aluminium spreader block to the shelves at some point can’t wait to get my hands on 3x 12ft 3.5lb and the net hopefully be able to add the spreader block to it 🙏
