every 10 minutes Drongo checks the french villager nubmer and its 31 or 32 every time.

Minimoult lost the game because of the Estate placement. If they were behind his TC, he keeps pumping more Uhlans and cleans up the fight at his base, and that's it.

Yes, he made amazing raids and had the eco lead, if he defended his eco more he could win by out ecoing

Crazy game indeed, cast some more unique and fun games like this one.

dragoons overpowered. No reason they should have bonus dmg vs artillery, they already beat all melee infantry/hand cav/are fastest unit in game

Skirmishers honestly suck vs dragoon’s. We need a 3x multiplier against dragoons on skirmishers so that they can actually counter them.

Agreed. Basically nullifies hand cav, German seems to always lose to French/dragoon civs. Melee units almost nonexistent in PVP.

@@akbarthegreat1694 I don´t know why dragoons have ranged resistance, to be honest. They´re supposed to counter hand cavalry, so they should have melee resistance instead. Now they can get on top of skirmishers and artillery and take them out without problems

What's so unusual about building estates in current year? Isn't it the logical thing to do if you're out of coin mines?

Great Video! Just a video idea for you, when is it a good idea to invest in livestock pens? I never know if it is just worth going for hunts and mills or investing in pens. If you have any knowledge on this please share. Keep up the great work!

Of course you should make estates when there's no coin, but in standard 1v1 the game usually ends while there are still coin mines available. In this game both civs are very coin heavy so the map ran out of coin fast

usualy games end before the mines get depleted... and good players are usually able to protect their mines

I guess it’s because they’re expensive and generate coin slowly, unless you get all the upgrades and some home city shipments that increase the gather rate of settlers working on them

This is quite a tempo based match up so normally when mines run out you want to transition into bow pike if the game is super tight and close like this one

What everyone else said. But I'd also add that you can coin from the Market whenever you need coin (like for cannons) and just macro wood and food for the trash units.

You should count active vills not actual vills. So all vills-idle vills because idle vills are worthless

On this level of play, settlers don't stay idle for long. It's reasonable to assume that settlers are active most of the time.
