    I'm so glad you mentioned the missed opportunity to use the same tool to draw out industry for parking. I was talking about this in another comment that they could have used it to draw out cemeteries too, and expand it to increase capacity; but why stop there? Use it to designate school, college, and university properties as well so that everything within the bounds is part of the school so you're not bound to the constraints there (plus decoupling the building from the parking lot let's you control the size better). I guess this is similar to the parks dlc and universities dlc. Some really good concepts were abandoned.

    the could of done a facing direction like they have for some building games, that way it knows which is the road it connects to, still no trailers for trailer parks which is a definite part in North American living culture. campgrounds where people bring in tent trailers and motor homes would be cool too. winter stuff, like a ski lodge and lift for downhill, maybe a lake area for cross country skiing and ice fishing, maybe a pond freezing over in winter for at least skating . i like the vegetation, though they needed to add more items like statues, fountains, maybe being able to make custom signs for entry to city/sub-division or area zoning

    I know you from your great CS1 Netherlands series. Really love that build, because I lived some years in the Netherlands (and I'm gonna move there again next year). Now I'm looking forward to your new Canadian series in CS2. I love the cities and the landscape in Canada, so I'm excited about the theme you chose. Keep going on like that! In my opinion you have far to less subscribers right now ;) Greetings from Germany!

    Fellow Vancouverite here! Absolutely loving your content bud! I’ve been loving cities skyline 2. I notice you play with infinite money on. Do you ever play regularly? I’m trying to improve by playing it normally but man it’s hard to make a pleasing city like that!

I wouldn't say no to it in the future but I do a lot of things to help get the look and layout I want that definitely hurt me financially at the start haha BUT as the famous Canadian Justin Bieber once said NEVER SAY NEVER. So I won't rule it out in the future haha

    @28:14 what if that plot of land in the corner of the freeway was the entertainment district with a sports stadium and amusement park of sorts. Not sure exactly the sizing required for these assets would be, but that was my kind of thought for there as they are high noise polluters. Also it could work to have the roads in and out of there sneak under the existing bridges on the freeway and have a trumpet interchange maybe?

    Love all of these ideas and I have something really fun planned for episode 2. I hadn’t seen any amusement park assets aside from a Ferris wheel but that could be a really cool unique attraction near a stadium complex. Thanks so much for your comment!

    Have the developers addressed the lack of props? It seems like that's one of the primary complaints from content creators. I can't imagine playing a city builder without them so I'm not planning to buy the game until props are added

    If I get the Microsoft Store version for PC, would it be like CS1 where if/when the make mods for CS2 only the Steam Workshop version have the mods?

  • @canadianmooseplays

    So they announced this week no steam support just Paradox mods. This would make me think that yes you should be able to have access to mods and assets but I would also suggest maybe contact Microsoft support to double check just in case.

    @canadianmooseplays hey brother I have a question, I'm actually from mississauga Ontario Canada, close to Toronto I'm trying to build mississauga, if you have a second look up mississauga around sqaure one shopping centre, how do I make slit roads? The main street hurontario is a large 3 lane Avenue, that has slit right and left turning lanes. I'm trying to find guides on how to incorporate that into my build! Making seemless right/left turning slit lanes on large avenues junctions. If you have a guide or a video stamp you explaining that will be helpful, or any links. Thanks bud! 😁

    I am not sure do i like how everything looks wonky lol.... i have a feeling that the game underperforms and have issues with performance is because of adding so much mechanics that i can bet most people won't even touch or care about ... do we really need long and short lights on cars?! seasons is nice but manually building autum build, or winter build was cool ... also do we need managing each abd every houshold in 180 household building?!? and i am sure there is even more stuff in game that takes a tole on performance too ... but ok ... we will see

  • @ZGreenGaming

    Also the idea of not comparing CS to CS2 to me makes no sense as for years there have been stuff many people asked for and especially detailing community... but that larg part of this game was left out.... its grate we have mods and assets creators that di stuff for free while they took 90 eur for ultimate edition and under deliverd ... at least for me

    why is he aborting buildings all the time?

  • @MHMichaelHooper

    @MHMichaelHooper

    He is trying to get the buildings to face the correct road. He is deleting them when they are facing the incorrect direction. The biggest weakness of this game is there is no easy way to remove zoning from specific roads.
