Idk if u have to own it but if your 808 has a pitch bend, in new tone if you drag and match those audio waves you can get the 808 to one root key and if you want ; save it as a sample and replace the pitch bend 808 in your kits. Hopefully this makes sense, some 808s use to bother me cause I could hear them sliding and throwing off the beat cause of it

Highlight with the select tool or ctr and left click for the shortcut to select. Once they are highlighted hold ctr and alt and use the scroll wheel to move up or down. You have to do it in the piano roll. Make sure your cursor isnt in the velocity section.

When I make a melody and chords, when it’s time to lay my 808 pattern I follow the root notes, sometimes the 808 is very low then if I only transpose my 808 up one octave it sounds too high, so I should be transposing the melody and chords to another note ? And not another octave? I think that’s what I got from this!!

yes, if moving up or down an octave still doesn’t sound right for the 808 then you may need to transpose all of your melodies up a note (or a couple) so that you can move the 808s up to match and sound better

How is this complex? this is basic. And you dont need newtone. Just move the 808 up a few octaves so easier to hear. Mediocre video
