His medical issues (which have never been publicly disclosed and we should not speculate about because it’s none of our business) were very severe to the point where he had to take about 2 years hiatus on and off from his kpop group Pentagon. So I agree, Yanan definitely wasn’t faking and shouldn’t get any hate

Exactly. I feel like Jony J is the real instigator while Gong Ge just went with him, but the whole situation was just a mess. They came on a show that has gathered ppl with diff background to give pair performances, but refuse to collab with any other contestants. Im still mad everytime i rewatch it 😅. I mean if why accept to do this program if you didnt like the format in the first place

@@sravll576 hi 🤗. I don't really follow all of the episode of this show. But this time, that guy, Gong ge, was choosing to leave the show. Gong ge was Minghao (The8) partner. If he leave, then Minghao would be alone. That's why Minghao look so confused and sad. Poor my baby😭 and what i'm mad at this point is, the way Jonny J just standing and smiling like nothing happen. I read another coment that Gong Gee leave because he was following Jonny J, sorry i don't really know, i just hate his face that time :v no, i'm not his haters. Really. I just hate what he did. Yanan’s health problems have never been disclosed, but independently of this show he went on hiatus from his kpop group Pentagon a few times totaling more than 2 years. So clearly whatever was going on in his life was quite serious and Jun probably was aware of the details because he and Yanan are close friends. So based off the info he had, he said “I care more about my friend’s health than winning this competition, so I will withdraw” which I really respect. Jun suffers from anxiety and for him to bravely announce something like that on his own must have been very difficult, so I’m glad Minghao could support him in that moment.

In the first clip Jun looks sad and worried that his friend is in a bad situation meanwhile Yanan looks so angry that his friend is being treated like this. I find their reactions interesting because it shows the differences in Jun and Yanan’s personalities. Maybe that’s why they’ve become good friends over time, because they complement each other.

ok but can we talk about the way minghao literally BOLTED from his seat on 3:38 -- the utter concern, seriousness, and urgency on his face; how quickly he got up from his seat; and the way he tried to make jun laugh and loosen up even just a little (which i believe he successfully did). wow. really. their relationship and bond is very moving i might even get emotional just by thinking about it. our eisa and moon jun, i wish nothing but the healthiest, happiest, and strongest friendship for the both of you! may you hold each other's hands until the next life.. and the ones after that.

I seriously cried watching this, the part where Jun gave up his position to save Minghao and the other 3 from the elimination just show how much he care for him, I know it's the show rules that they need to do it as a duo but that moment melt my heart. They care so much for each other and I love their friendship. I also hope that their friendship would last forever. Also for the whole members of Seventeen.

Jun really is an angel and minghao is such a sweet and kind guy. I really loved how minghao and jun were supporting each other.

no the look on Myungho's face at 1:09 when Jun came to hug him literally says "I'm loss", a moment of "how should I react" and "what am I gonna do", even though he said he's fine but we all know he was actually not. the hug just comforted him a lot, and I'm happy that they joined the show together, or Myungho would just be so sad

Honestly, I think the situation with Minghao’s partner leaving actually worked out for the better. He was the one who got to pick his new partner and he invited Victor Ma himself. The two became close friends throughout the show (not sure if they were friends before) and did a great job together. I think that’s part of why Minghao was able to understand and respect Jun’s decision to withdraw because of his friend/partner Yanan leaving, because he realized if Victor left he would do the same.

I didn’t know Victor Ma before this show but now I really like him. He seems very straightforward and not someone who gives fake praise or beats around the bush (example: giving Minghao feedback about suggesting to use the contestants’ names in their “In My Feelings” cover). He’s also very sassy (example: saying “we just friends” when asked if he and Minghao would become soulmates). Those are two things that are very much present in Minghao’s personality too which is why they got along so well. The perfect balance of goofing around/teasing each other/having fun and working very earnestly towards their goal.

But in the end Jun ended up withdrawing from the competition because of his friendship with Yanan. So kind of the same situation but for different reasons.

the only reason the gg and jj one had was prejudice towards idols, jj being so vocal about it while gg just following him around. jj doesn't even felt remorse for it. and on top of that, they put hao in an upsetting and frankly, quite degrading situation. jun's decision was justified. he didn't betray anyone and he did it for the greater good -- to support yanan who seemed to battle something serious for his health, and to allow the teams with actual partners to move forward (saving them both.. saving minghao). [along the way, he was able to give himself a break too cos the show is pressuring and stressing him out so much physically and mentally.] all of his intentions are good and brave. personally i don't see the irony in both situations, but it is true that it was sad. :(

After watching the first part and this video about their moments, I can relive the feelings I felt before. How the show really pushed them to come out of their comfort zone and how they faced circumstances that they can't control. Their friendship is a treasure, and I believe that they'll keep on supporting, encouraging and correcting(if needed) each other in whatever they'll do.

The last scene made me weak ; ; So sad there is no part 3, but will you make other junhao videos?

Frankly, Minghao has said that when he moved to Korea Jun was the only person he knew who spoke Chinese. Now imagine if Jun wasn’t there, who knows if Minghao would’ve lasted long before saying “this is horrible, this isn’t what I dreamed of, I don’t think it’s working out” because of how depressing being isolated and not understanding anything is. So he might have switched companies at some point or even left Korea entirely to pursue music back in China. In any case, I’m glad that they have each other

Did you stumble into this video for the JunHao but are curious about what this show is? Well here I am to explain a few things! 🤔: What is this show? This show is Chao Yin Zhan Ji, or CYZJ for short. So it's a music competition + reality show. What makes it different from other music competitions is that it emphasizes on COLLABORATION. Basically, the show gathers 10 musical artists and they're supposed to pair up, and the ultimate team wins. 🤔: How does the show work? The rules were a bit confusing at first, but don't worry it's actually simple! To make it easy I'll explain per episode: Ep 1: The token "getting to know you" episode. Everyone performs a solo song so that the other contestants can get a feel of what kind of music each person does. At the same time, your solo performance is ranked by a studio audience through voting. Whoever is first in rank gets priority in choosing their partner. At the same time, whoever is last in rank don't get to refuse. EP 2-5: These are the episodes where the contestants are now in pairs. At the same time, your partners are NOT FIXED. These 5 episodes are where you can choose to keep changing partners until you find your perfect match. The same rules from episode 1 apply here: studio audience ranks, and the higher you rank the more priority you get in choosing your partner. EP 6-10: Now this is where the pair you choose will be PERMANENT for the competition. You can't change anymore and this is where the eliminations start. 1 pair will be eliminated each episode until only 3 remain. Don't worry, I think just watching the clips instead of the show is pretty normal (I mean even I was hesitant at first too because each ep is like...an hour lol 😂 sometimes you just want to find all the JunHao you know? Haha) And that's a good question! I think I have a pretty good idea as to why, but this isn't like... a set answer. They didn't really explicitly say after all... Okay so the first and the most likely reason is that Samuel is actually really famous in China! 😊 When his album "Eye Candy" came out it was on the top of Chinese Music Charts for awhile. Not only that, but at one point (November 17, 2017) he was #1 in the list of hottest celebrities and #2 of current hot topics on a chinese site and also at the time his face was ALL OVER Weibo. The show came out in 2018 so it was around that time. Secondly, it's also pretty well known that Samuel has a connection with Seventeen. (Since he was initially going to debut with them and all) Since Jun and Minghao were going to be on the show, I think from a producer standpoint, it seemed like a good choice to have him on the show with them. At the same time, Samuel is really talented, especially in the music and performances. If we just base on the concept and the way the show works, Samuel's skills definitely meet the standard of the show. He did really well in CYZJ despite the language barrier! ☺ Maybe there were more reasons that we don't know about, but these seem to be the more obvious reasons for it. Literally had to put it at 0.25 speed and pause frame by frame to read what that comment said 😂 And honestly I agree with it.

Honestly this show had so many sad undertones and situations, like it was really good and I loved everyone but Jesus the angst was real with this one
