Yeah I keep remembering that video of Hoshi saying "your head needs to be turned 3 degrees more". He's definitely the dance leader for a reason

I really like Minghao as a trainer he is really gentle, like his tone of voice isn’t mean it’s gentle and reassuring when he is teaching, he also makes sure to explain things in an easy way and also very thoroughly. I feel as though when trainers go on the show they just idk, like to me they act very mean, like I understand that it’s a survival show, but at the same time I feel as though it’s a show that helps trainees grow and become better, I feel as though trainers don’t realize this and act very harsh towards the trainees, but Hao doesn’t.

Dariely Soto I haven’t seen this show, but from the clips shown, I do agree that he’s a good teacher since he’s thorough in his explanations and is encouraging-as you’ve stated. And since his voice is soft spoken and soothing to listen to, the trainees probably feel the most comfortable w/ him. I’m guessing he’s the nice judge/trainer on this show?

Yes that's why I think Minghao was a great trainer because he gave constructive criticism whereas for other people it comes off as too critical.

Chinese idol survival shows have thus gained quite a reputation among kpop fans as being less intimidating than Korean idol survival shows. 😆 You’ll find more kindness in mentors such as Li Ronghao, Zhou Shen, Mao Buyi, and a number of others-whether for _Idol Producer, Produce 101,_ or _Youth With You._ ^^

Minghao isn’t a conventional dance instructor. He’s super nice, and polite about things, and it makes me want to improve more than with my meanie dance teacher lol. It’s a breath of fresh air.

I see you everywhere.

He's already my bias, but his humility and empathy for the trainees makes him even more incredible. Minghao must be exhausted himself but doesn't let show...and that worries me. Having schedules with his own group and then doing this too. I hope he can take care of himself. Such a young guy but has an old soul vibe with his maturity and wisdom.

Hao's way of training reminds the trainees that this is their dream, and he's going to help them however he can to chase it. He isn't biased; he just uses what he knows to help them do their best and get that much closer to the dream. Even if you don't make the final cut, you've improved under Hao's tutelage and are less likely to give up.

he is literally the best trainer ,like he is not biased to any trainee and he didn't shout randomly to the trainees, he stayed up til 5am to teach the trainees, he didn't get irritated when somebody made a mistake instead he taught them with care but he wanted the best angles.That's why i love him out of all youth with seasons , he was the best dance teacher.

knowing how svt maintain their synchronization and the chemistry they have, makes me realize how hard they have been through to get where they are now doing the most for themselves with a little help from the company, did everything to be on top. they deserve to be where they are right know and all the things they are getting.

omo he's amazing. like for real. he even got dressed, ready to go home at 5 am yet stayed to teach each of them and spent time with them, that's not something most people care to do, that's kind of a hassle actually. like, why I'm sure he had better things to do at 5am (like sleep), but instead he dedicated that time to the trainees. he's a great teacher and the before and after of the trainees is actually quite incredible, he only says a few words and demonstrates how to do it and that gives the trainees so much confidence. I love you, oppa. I wish I had a teacher like him

Minghao did an amazing job, he didn’t blame them for making mistakes. Instead he simply pointed out what could be bettered in order to deliver the performances a better way, and told them how they could do it. My dance teacher used to do that as well, thanks to this kind of teacher, the students will improve faster. And yes, synchronization is important for any Seventeen member

The8 doesn’t need to be scary to be a good teacher. He’s very kind and gentle, but he still has high expectations. And all the students work hard not because they’re scared of him, but they must feel awful if he uses his disappointed voice and they don’t want to let him down.

He shows genuine sincerity for the trainees and he explains really well too. I really love to have a mentor like him ❤

Honestly

The funniest part is when they say that it only took him 5h to learn the choreography but in SVT he is the slowest one to learn a choreo because he has a bad memory. Love him, love everything about him, but it blows my mind to imagine that if it took him 5h, most members of SVT would have learned it in maybe 2h or 3h.

he’s a very good trainer and teacher, he points out mistakes and inconsistencies without being super harsh or scary. His teaching style is gentle and constructive and I really think it’s beneficial for the kids he’s teaching

Honestly I love how Minghao really cared for the trainees but I also love how receptive the trainees were. They weren’t getting irritated with him or making snide remarks. I try to teach like Minghao, being thorough, caring, and accommodating but if the trainees don’t have the receptive attitude it is very difficult for the trainer to teach
