Two windows of mine cracked along the bottom when I put my defroster on full blast. Since then, I set the heat to come out through the dash vents so there isn't any direct air blowing onto the windshield. The car warms up and the windows begin to defrost and then I turn the control to defrost.

That is unfortunate. Was there ice or frost on the windshield?

@@dudewecanfixit I believe there was ice on them. It was a long time ago and since then I've been using the car's heater to warm the interior so that there won't be any direct heat being blown onto the iced over windows. Windshields are too expensive to replace.
