If you are wondering how to read body language then you've come to the right place. Reading body language is one of the most important skills to cultivate if you want to improve your social life. It allows you to quickly tell how someone is feeling in almost any situation. So today I'm going to go over 20+ signs/movements for the hands and fingers and do a deep analysis on what each of the mean. This is The Ultimate Body Language Guide.
DISCLAIMER: All of the information presented in this video, is taken straight from body language expert and former FBI agent Joe Navarro's book, "The Dictionary Of Body Language".

Sometimes I recall myself doing this, but I see this stuff happen especially in movies when the actors are said to be acting well. I think that people will notice these miniscule movements all the time and know instinctively and, to a certain degree, know what people are trying to convey better.

I never do any of these and I've never seen anyone else do any of these either other than the ted talk stance because there's nothing else you can really do when giving a presentation. I think looking at the entire body, most importantly the posture and facial expressions is more important. Because what someone's entire body is doing is more representative of their body language than just their hands.

Some of them I can agree, some of them are straight up your assumption. Have you ever travelled different nation, when you travel from colder to warmer climate, you unconsciously will rub your palm due to sweating. Nothing to do with your confidence level or so, does that mean you have insecurities? This is just one sample example. I understand the situation is presented as while interacting with someone but some interactions become habit due to environmental troubles.

Neurodivergents may make gestures in different ways, though. For example, they might do tons of pacifier gestures, even when they are relatively confident in their words. They might be just very stressed from interacting with another human, or just from their body's normal operations. They might also lack some of the gestures.

I’m a person who lurks out on the periphery. I’m a people watcher without looking directly at them but noticing everything there doing. Men are more apt to do this so not to seem threatening by looking directly at a person. My worst problem is that I don’t smile, and this often gets me negative looks or responses from people I interact with. I don’t mean to come off negative and I’m not a depressed person at all I just don’t have a smiley face. It’s a work in progress 😊
