I just want to say thanks bro! Ive been watching your videos for a year now after working out consistently for 2 years before finding your videos. Over this 3rd year of consistently working out using your technique tips, ive put over an inch more on my biceps/triceps and I connect with my arms way better now. I have learned how to connect better with my lats, traps, and legs too thanks to you! It makes a huge difference! Thank you.

Same, the movement over weight, no bs, no ego lifting, how you lift over what you lift. Lifts that work and have done for 50yrs, no need for making up new shit.

Mike , Happy New Year. A note of thanks on this segment. I have tried the bicep curl off my thigh for many times but never connected. I almost 67 and your tips have allowed me to not only connect but grow by bicep. Now if I could really connect on my concave chest. Promote your channel to kids in the gym, after I demonstrate your tips and give them the source of info. Thanks again. Rick

Great content as usual Mike. I will say personally I use fat gripz at home for my warm up sets and sometimes one or two sets solely for strengthening my grip tho. I'm fully aware that they aren't some magical nonsense that creates a better connection or contraction lmao. They def strengthened my grip tho for sure.

I wear a mouth guard sometimes while weight training…especially when doing heavy hard max effort max tension sets for biceps actually. Break a couple of teeth from grinding so hard while you strain and then you’ll realize the point of a mouth guard while lifting crazy heavy/hard/strain. Your comments just prove you don’t consistently train with the level of intensity I guess someone like me does to know that we aren’t sporting it in the gym in fear of getting randomly sucker punched lol. 28:29 haha "are you going out tonight, ahh yeah me too". Spot on brother! My gym is full of these comedians lol. I can name three or four guys in my gym who are obsessed on Fridays thinking they can pump traps and biceps up before going out lol. They don't even realize they're so small that the clothes they wear covers everything up anyway.

Your a legend just let me say 21’s work amazing for me. If it’s possible placebo I don’t mind if I’m tricking myself into working a bit harder. But in all honesty I believe it’s helping me out with a combination of things I would say like top and bottom holds on calf’s. If I was to assume I think would be like a yoga it stretch’s the muscles like you do a tight water balloon before you fill it up with water. The holding and flexing or slow movements and flexing push blood. The same plane of movement and mind muscle contractions and reversing that motion. create work. Constant tension I think helps blood flow. But if you release the tension and re-engage I’m not sure how that would effect the contraction work.
