Time flies, I remembering reading about this family around 2012 or 2013. It's incredible how much their kids have grown.

I’m 6’6 and had a great uncle who was 7’2. I bang my head an awful lot on doorways and things. Clothes shopping is a pain too 👍

How is dating wise?

There was a man called John Carswell who built Carnasserie Castle in Argyll & Bute, Scotland. He was 7 feet tall which is why the construction of his castle is quite tall, the ceiling height had to be custom to suit his height and castle really suits a person of his stature especially in terms of the art and design that was much influenced by the renaissance period as is the architecture. Evidence: archaeologists dug up his skeleton and it measured 7ft tall, I think it’s now in a museum somewhere, not too sure though. There are many advantages of being tall such as the highest shelf in the shop or the kitchen cupboard or the clock on the wall or even for painting and decorating

i have the same thing happened to me like the bald father, i also got my height from uncles and grandfather, my mom (5’4) and dad (5’9) and my uncles all tower (6’1 to 6’3), as well as my grandpa, im currently (6’0) at 17 yrs old

"I was fed up being approached by fat women" = omg that's so awful you are such an awful person "I was fed up being approached by short men" = you go girl. You do you. How it is that something you have no control over is okay to comment out but something you have complete control over is other people's problem to deal with. I'm so glad I'm not short. Short guys have it so rough.

I'm very short (5'0) and I'm fine with people openly stating their disinterest (romantly or sexualy) in short people if they aren't interested, it's saves me from wasting my time on someone who is simply not going to be compatible and saves me from having to ask myself what I could have done wrong. But I also think it should be okay to be openly disinterested (romantically of sexualy) in any trait inherited or not (as long as they aren't cruel about it).

It’s not the same comparison. If a men said “i was tired of being approached by tall women” nobody would care either. People are so used to telling me “you are so tall” all the time but if i said to someone “you are so fat” it would be considered an insult. Nobody should comment on other people bodies, but this stupid society think that only fat people can have low self esteem

I know the struggles of being tall, too. I'm "only" 202cm tall, but i'm also a little overweight. Finding clothes is a nightmare, i can only drive older cars because they are more spacious and so on. I have problems with my knees, my back und my blood pressure. Most of the time i hate my height. 😒 People always make fun of me or the first thing they notice is my height only...and everybody wants to talk about it.🙄 Where did i get my height from!? No one knows! My father was only 188cm and my mother is just 168cm. We were 7 kids at home and i'm by far the tallest. My oldest brother is just 172cm. 😅

There's always been a demand for racing car drivers, jockeys, miners, tank drivers and numerous other jobs that require shorter people. My height (6'2") has been a disadvantage in several of my jobs as I couldn't physically do the work comfortably. My Dad was 5'7", when he grew up that was the average height.

Height isn't the most important thing in life and since we have no control over how tall we end up in our adulthood, I wouldn't worry about it. Just be happy with everything else, that makes you special. I know a guy who's my age (25) and he's about 5'1 and he doesn't care about it. He is a good breakdance dancer, makes rap music and just enjoys his life.

That was really, really nice. Even if this married couple were both a foot shorter, this would be a very nice story, of two people of different backgrounds truly loving each other.
