Bill Finger, the real creator of Batmán....

I like how he tried to take the credit for inventing the batcave....the batcave made it's first appearance in the 1943 batman 15 chapter serial long before it ever appeared in a comic book

Bob Kane was an over-entitled and dishonest fraud. His "version" of Batman was a line drawing of Superman in a red costume with jagged wings. Batman's mask shape, the outline, the color of his costume, the Batmobile, the tragic origin story and the Gotham setting with various villains was either partly or ENTIRELY created by Milton "Bill" Finger. Bill Finger is the true creator of the Batman character (and, really, product). Since the 1960s an endless amount of retail merchandise has appeared associated with a character that Bob Kane falsely "created". He actively suppressed knowledge or entitlement of Bill Finger's rightful authorship of the character for fifteen years after Finger's death in 1974 and ended up living in luxury as the films and marketing products continued. It's shameful this dishonest man with a palatable sales manner should be credited with something he never actually invented. What a fraud.

Bill Finger wasn't an artist. that's why Kane got the credit, he drew it the way he saw fingers ammendments

Without Bob Kane, we wouldn't have Two-Face, period!

I like the interview but it is also a demonstration of why someone with both respect for the subject but also knowledge of the business should conduct it. Kane didn't mention any of his staff members who helped him develop the series! Without a doubt it was his creation and series but he could have at least used the pronoun "we"! He corrected the oversight in his autobio but this interview gives ammo to those who only want to attack him!

He created my favorite superhero of all time. Rest In Peace, Bob Kane.

😢 I am sad

Bob Kane created an enduring superhero loved by millions. Bill Finger helped with costume but the original character was Bobs idea. I loved old Zorro repeats as a kid, I didnt realise that helped Bob create Batman when he saw Zorro at the movies.

Bob came up with a Superman rip off named Bat-Man that had a bright red costume and a domino mask. Bill finger created everything we know about Batman - Kane deserves almost zero credit.

Bitch all you want to but he came up with the concept of Batman and others filled it in and made it what it was. Just people Kane was a prick about giving credit doesnt take away from the fact that he was the primary creator...

@@Anth230 If by primary, you mean the first guy to say there should be a costumed hero named 'Bat-Man,' perhaps so. But if by primary, you mean the main contributor to the creation of the character we know as 'Batman,' that would be Bill Finger.
