Pablo Lopez is in contention for AL Strikeout leader this season, Sonny is pushin for ERA leader. Great work this season gang. I'm sad we lost that batting title to Miami in exchange for the shot at the Strikeout leading pitcher (2nd atm I think to Strider?) but Lopez has definitely shown me that he was not a BAD trade like I thought! (I still mighta preferred keeping Arraez but dammit Lopez is a great part of the team!)

As a Twins fan, I think the same thing. Arraez is such a talent and such a likable guy. I hated seeing him go. But Pablo, brings just as much value if not more and he is arguably just as likable as Luis. He truly cares about people, and loves the Twins. I’d say we’ve got an elite starter for years to come.

@blazek7683 he really is awesome, always seems happy to be there and seems to have a really positive energy. That's before we even look at what he's done on the mound! I gotta say I was wrong to be upset at the trade but I'll always miss Arraez :)

It was a perfect trade. Big time arms always make the difference in the post-season. The Twins need Lopez more than Arraez

Twins literally had no place to put arraez, they have correa kiriloff lewis julien farmer polanco all in the infield. The twins needed good pitching and they got it. Arraez is very good but id trade him for an ace pitcher every day of the week

@drew1122 true that but it seems like between those listed someone is always hurt, and Arraez stays pretty healthy. Lopez has absolutely proven his value and then some though.

funny that they would be in 4th place in both other AL Divisons with their records.

@@TRON0314 no, thats not how it should be. It should just be the best teams that make it to the playoffs period. Good thing the NBA got rid of these stupid division rules. It guarantees the best teams are actually playing at the end of the season, not just rewarding teams who happened to be in the worse division in baseball

@@thegagz Yeah.... LITERALLY no one cares about the NBA until June. No rivalries because of the format. No reason to get excited about the division race. NBA is pathetic. Also NFL does the same as MLB and it's still good too. The alleged best teams had a chance. To win the division. Those that were did. And those that weren't didn't. I'm sorry your team missed the playoffs. 🙏

​@@thegagzthe twins are one of the best AL teams though. The only AL teams that are measurably better are Tampa and Baltimore. They definitely compare favorably vs Texas, Seattle, Houston, and Toronto.

The AL central has to be the weakest division in baseball
