Yeah but on some models they are using red oak instead of the more durable white oak. And if you get the bottom end models they went to pine, so for that price point I would expect at least a hard wood

There IS such a thing as too much weed... that being said, when Crocs were the thing back in the early 2000s, I bought a knockoff set from Target. Those things were bulletproof - lasted three years in a healthcare setting.

@@Seriously_Eh I used 3/4” plywood that I shaped to my boots and used some 1” straps and buckles to hold them on. The nails were about 2-2.5”. Just walked behind my mower and then after I was done mowing I spread a bunch of grass seed and weed and feed and then watered the whole yard well.

That kid at 4:47 was so funny as he was describing being a firefighter :)
